Sydney Sweeney has made a candid confession about her early body insecurities as she reflected on her journey to confidence in Hollywood.

The 28-year-old blonde bombshell - who shot to fame as Cassie on Euphoria - revealed she struggled to feel comfortable with her curves as a teenager.

Now the actress has fully embraced body positivity, launching her own lingerie line Syrn and proudly modeling the barely-there pieces herself.

But despite the confidence she radiates in the sultry campaign shots, Sweeney admitted the road to self-assurance wasn't always easy.

'I grew up with boobs. I was wearing a 32DD in sixth grade, and I never felt confident,' she told UsWeekly on Thursday.

'I never had anything I felt good in, and I just wanted to hide. It wasn’t until Cassie in Euphoria that I started realizing it’s actually powerful to be confident; our bodies are incredible. We should embrace [them] and feel really good in our skin.’

Indeed, Sweeney’s role as Cassie in the HBO teen drama, alongside Zendaya, helped her embrace her curves, as the character is known for being sexually confident and body positive.

Now, in her own life, she’s following that same ethos - using her new lingerie line to celebrate her figure. She told Us Weekly that one of her favourite pieces, a black corset, is her ‘date night go-to’.

‘That’s why I made it, because I don’t like to get too dressed up; I’m more of a jeans girl,’ Sweeney explained.

‘I could not find a top that made me feel hot without being too much. But this is perfect. You can tie it as tight as you want, so you can make ’em pop as much as you want! The shape is amazing.’

She also opened up about the little details in her Syrn line that make her most proud.

‘There are usually little messages in my pieces. I love hearts. Even our logo, my two Ss, is a heart,’ she said.

‘And on the straps of [the bras], all the sliders have hearts. I like to personalise things as much as I can. … I play dress up now with my own [SYRN] stuff.’

The silver screen siren previously shared that her line ‘sold out in HOURS!!’

‘We're working on a restock soon. I'm so grateful. I love you allll,’ she said on social media

Ahead of the launch, the Euphoria star made sure the marketing was just as bold as her designs, posing in sultry shots and even pulling a stunt at the Hollywood sign.

Now, Sweeney appears to be setting her sights on the beauty world.

Insiders say the actress has filed a trademark hinting at future ventures.

According to WWD, trademark attorney Josh Gerben highlighted a submission to the US Patent and Trademark Office dated January 16 for Syrn, covering skincare, cosmetics, and beauty care products.

The filing is listed as an ‘intent-to-use’ application, suggesting products could either be in development or the trademark is being secured for future use.

No details on specific products or innovations were included in the paperwork.

Sweeney also shared her vision for the brand, emphasizing that every piece is designed to fit a ‘beautiful range of body types.’

She told Cosmopolitan magazine: ‘My designers are all women, and I have an amazing diverse team. My models are a beautiful range of body types. I'm always like: 'I want to see it on every body.'

'I can't be the only model. I need to make sure everyone feels really good in it ...

'If I wouldn't wear it, I wouldn't want to make it.’
