Susanna Reid and The Wanted star Max George had a very flirty innuendo-filled chat on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday - about his pacemaker, of all things.
Max, 38, had the battery-powered electronic device fitted back in December 2024 after being diagnosed with a 2:1 heart block. It is placed under the skin to help regulate slow or abnormal heart rhythms.
The singer, who is in a relationship with EastEnders actress Maisie Smith, 25, since 2022, had Susanna, 55, erupting in giggles after he invited her to touch his pacemaker and she said: 'there is a slight bulge there.'
The conversation started when Susanna said: 'Max, how are you feeling? Because you've had this heart issue which is really scary and surgery of course. So, what's going on with you at the moment?'
Max replied: 'I'm all good. So I had a pacemaker put in and then taken out again and then put back in again.'
'Should we move on?' Susanna Reid erupted with giggles during an innuendo-filled chat with The Wanted star Max George on Good Morning Britain on Tuesday
When Susanna asked him how big the device is, he said: 'Do you want to touch it?' and he couldn't help but laugh when she commented on the size of the bulge

Max had the pacemaker put in and then taken out again and then put back in again because there had been an issue with one of the leads
'Why was it taken out?' she asked.
'There was an issue with it,' he replied. 'There was an implantation issue with one of the leads. So they yanked that one out and put a new one in.'
When Susanna asked him how big the device is, he said: 'Do you want to touch it?' leading his The Wanted 2.0 bandmate Siva Kaneswaran, 37, to start giggling.
As she felt it, Susanna said: 'OK, so there is a slight bulge in there.'
And playful Max replied: 'That's not what they normally say. They normally say it's a big bulge, but it keeps me going.'
Susanna giggled and said: 'Shall we move on? It's about the pacemaker. It's the size of a matchbox isn't it?'
But the flirty banter didn't stop there.
Siva said: 'As you can see, he's doing really well.'
'I'm doing well,' Max chimed in. 'The blood is flowing.'
Susanna said, stifling her giggles: 'Well that's always good to hear.'
The interview concluded with Max saying: 'I'm just excited again' and Susanna: 'I'm excited. We're all excited.'
