Netflix India has unveiled an expansive 2026 programming slate headlined by Sunny Deol, Madhuri Dixit and Saif Ali Khan as the streamer marks its 10th anniversary in the territory.

The announcement, presented by Monika Shergill, VP of content for Netflix India, emphasizes what the executive describes as serving “many Indias” rather than a single audience, with programming spanning military dramas, family comedies, reality formats and psychological thrillers.

“Ten years of Netflix in India isn’t a milestone we mark alone. It’s a story we’ve written together with creators who took bold risks, actors and technicians who brought those visions to life, partners who built with passion, teams who kept raising the bar, and above all, audiences who welcomed these stories with curiosity and openness,” Shergill said in a statement.

The slate includes “Operation Safed Sagar,” a military drama chronicling the Indian Air Force’s role in the 1999 Kargil War. The series features Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Adil Hussain, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin and Amrita Bagchi, with creators Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava, and director Oni Sen. The project is being produced by Matchbox Shots and Feel Good Films.

Hansal Mehta returns to the streamer with “Family Business,” starring Anil Kapoor and Vijay Varma in what Netflix describes as a high-stakes succession battle within India’s corporate elite. The series, produced by Abundantia Entertainment and True Story Films, features an ensemble including Akash Khurana, Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupia, Anant Nag, Kanwaljit Singh, Dhruv Sehgal, Nandish Sandhu, Tina Desai, Rohan Mehra, Kamal Sadanah, Raima Sen, Inayat Sood and Madhoo Shah. Mehta co-created the series with Niren Bhatt, who also handled adapted story, screenplay and dialogue alongside Ankur Pathak and Nikhil Nair.

Dixit headlines dark comedy “Maa Behen,” directed by Suresh Triveni and co-starring Triptii Dimri, Ravi Kishan and Dharnaa Durga. The film, produced by Abundantia Entertainment in association with Opening Image Films, follows three women dealing with an unexpected situation involving a dead body.

Shergill noted that Indian content has consistently appeared in Netflix’s global top 10 every week throughout 2024 and 2025.

“A decade of streaming has reinforced a simple truth: there is no single way to tell Indian stories, and no single audience to serve. India is one nation, made up of many Indias. Our work begins and continues with embracing all of them,” Shergill stated.
