Jayde Adams has revealed she was left horrified after finding a man with a camera taking pictures outside her bedroom window.

The comedian, 41, told how was in her room when she noticed someone holding up a stick with a camera outside her window.

Taking to Instagram, she wrote: 'How would you feel? I'm in my bedroom. Curtains open. But it's the second floor and no one can see in.

'And all of a sudden I see a stick with a silver digital camera on the end. I opened the window and there was an old man below holding the stick up outside.

'He seemed completely unaware why a woman in her bedroom might be shocked to see a camera being pushed on a stick towards their window.

'When I asked what he was doing he acted like I was in the wrong? Annoyed that I had even questioned it and told me to call the police if I wanted to.

'This isn't normal, right? Or did I miss something?'

The former Strictly star was asked by one of her Instagram follower in a Q&A later if she had seen the man again and said she now believes he may have something to do with her next door neighbours.

'He hasn't been back, I think he's to do with next door but they need to like, tell me,' she said.

Jayde took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 where she was in a same-sex pairing with professional dancer Karen Hauer.

During her time on the programme, the actress said she 'laughs with trolls' who commented on her weight in order to show resilience.

Speaking on BBC Raidio 4's Woman's Hour, Jayde discussed the comments she receives from internet trolls and added that it will 'never stop.'

She began: 'I knew it was going to happen to me because every time I'm on TV someone comments on my weight, I just knew it was going to happen.

'I could do one of two things, I could ignore it, or I could tackle it. I found it funny, I could show people who follow me some resilience.'

Speaking of the comments she added: 'Someone wrote, this is Jayde Adam's rocking up to Strictly, with a picture of the michelin man, and I laughed!'

Jayde continued: 'I don't want people to say stuff like that but these people want to have a reaction.'

'The most useful thing to do it to not get at them, it's to show resilience because it's never going to stop.'
