Stop crying your hearts out: Liam Gallagher tells Oasis fans to 'stop moaning' over cost of £200 tickets - after vowing to scrap dynamic pricing

Liam Gallagher has told Oasis fans to stop moaning about the price of tickets to watch the band on tour next year.

Noel and Liam were criticised last year for apparently using dynamic pricing - when cost is based on demand - for their reunion tour, which resulted in ticket prices soaring.

They vowed not to use the system again. But it seems the Gallagher brothers have learnt little from the backlash as tickets their 42-date 2027 European tour went on sale today, starting from £170.50.

Packages including VIP, hotels and coach travel tickets can cost up to £571.

Taking to X, one fan wrote: 'In June 1994 I saw Oasis play the Cathouse in Glasgow for £6.30. Next year, a standing ticket to see them in Glasgow will be £170 upwards. That's an inflation rate of 2598%.'

Liam replied simply: 'STOP MOANING.'

Liam Gallagher has told Oasis fans to 'stop moaning' over cost of £200 tickets after critics declared 'no gig is worth that' - a year after the dynamic pricing scandal

Taking to X/Twitter, one fan revealed it had cost them just £6.30 to see Oasis in 1994, saying that the prices now had an inflation rate of 2598 percent

Another fan then tweeted him to ask: 'Liam what do you think of resellers selling the tickets for extortionate prices?' to which he replied: 'Don’t f***ing buy them SIMPLE'

One X user went viral after revealing she had decided not to buy tickets despite getting a code that allows you to purchase tickets during an allocated on-sale window.

Sharing a screengrab of her code confirmation email, she wrote: 'thanks for the invite but 170 quid a ticket think i’ll pass xxx.'

Other disgruntled fans shared: 'State of some of these comments. £170 a ticket, no gig is worth that. Certainly not f***ing oasis doing 50 nights at Knebworth and The Etihad FFS.They're fleecing you rotten';

'Then oasis ticket prices are extortionate f** that'; '170 quid a pop to sit in the top tier at celtic Park for oasis. No thank you. Exit.';

'Oasis are taking the piss with those ticket prices making you think they’re doing you a favour with the non dynamic pricing. Don’t mention virtually forcing you to buy a coach ticket for £70 though do they the f***ing manc stupid hair tramps… Anyway Knebworth night';

'35 minutes after the sale starts, no queue. Netherlands just doesn't give a fugg. But with €200+ a ticket or €150 if you accept obstructed view, who blame's them. You must be an absolute fanboy paying these prices for a band who hasn't been relevant for decades. #oasis';

'Nearly 200 quid for the cheapest standing #oasis ticket. If you want to be there and watch a gig, doesn’t feel like you’re watching miles away 200 quid min. Wanted to see Oasis play since I was 18 but always missed out, could have paid the money and went, but f**k that. Mental!';

'Thanks @oasis @liamgallagher @NoelGallagher, that was the smoothest ticket buying experience I’ve ever had… every queue was less than 300 people long when I joined. This staggered ticketing process has saved me waiting around for hours. Much love ❤️.'

Oasis Live 27 will see the group play 42 shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland

Oasis Live 27 will see the group play 42 shows in Scotland, England, Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Italy, the US and Ireland.

In the UK, ticket sales will take place today, tomorrow and Sunday, with three selling windows each day.

Fans have been informed directly which window they can access, and at what time depending on the unique, non-transferable code they received after pre-registering.

The band have told fans to be wary of scammers attempting to impersonate Oasis or their ticket partners.

In a statement, they wrote: 'Important: We have been made aware of possible Oasis ticket scams.

'As ticket information and unique codes are about to be distributed, please remain vigilant.

'Scammers may attempt to impersonate Oasis, our mailing list or our ticket partners.

'Please do not accept a code that is not sent by [email protected].'

Demand for the tour has been so great that Oasis added four extra dates, including two at Knebworth on September 25 and 26, where they famously played two concerts in August 1996 to an audience of more than 100,000 fans each night.

The band reunited last year for their Live 25 tour, which sold out within minutes of tickets going on sale, and was estimated by Forbes to have generated more than £293million in revenue.

Their reunion came after a longstanding feud between the brothers when the band split in 2009 – reportedly prompted by a backstage brawl at the Rock en Seine festival in France.

Yet despite the hype, the band came under fire for the price of the tickets after they were subject to dynamic pricing.

When Oasis confirmed their 2025 reunion tour, the price of standard tickets doubled from £148 to £355.

The Competition and Markets Authority found no evidence that dynamic pricing was used during the Oasis tour but said in a statement they 'risked giving consumers the misleading impression that platinum tickets were better.'

The CMA instructed Ticketmaster to change the way it labels tickets and reveals prices to fans in the future.

'At Ticketmaster, we strive to provide the best ticketing platform through a simple, transparent and consumer-friendly experience,' a spokesperson told the BBC. We welcome the CMA's input in helping make the industry even better for fans.'
