In recent years, fans have enjoyed even more Star Wars game releases, many of which have ended up as some of the best of the bunch in a decades-long run. You could say the same for The Division fans. Steam, as usual, has a combo for folks who are into both.

In terms of The Division, that series also has its hardcore, dedicated fanbase, especially when it was dropping new updates constantly and asking players to raid in zones that required a ton of teamwork. That formula has influenced many other titles over the years, including in the extraction genre, which Division dabbled in through its PVP mode.

Over on Steam now, you can pick up a new RPG that marries both in an interesting way.

Developed by Targem Games and published by Gaijin Network Ltd, you can try out Star Wrath now in demo form on Steam. You can join in on up to 15 different battles, with separate game servers prepped for the demo version (away from the closed beta testing).

Here's a quick breakdown: "Star Wrath is a multiplayer space extraction-action where you design your own ship and fight other players for resources in intense PvP and PvE battles."

So far, reviews are already positive, with one noting: "Star Wrath is a fast-paced space extraction shooter I was eagerly awaiting to playtest. I was pleasantly surprised when the demo dropped on Steam. After maxing out the demo’s content in about 3 hours, I’m confident this will shape up to be a fantastic experience in the long run."

Keep in mind that progress from the demo will not be transferred into the full game, in case you end up loving it and just want to try out the final version. So far, there's no release window for Star Wrath outside of "2026," so it could be a while.

In the reviews, some users are pointing out that since this is being published by Gaijin, it could end up with heavier monetization over time: "Seems really fun as a demo, but the fact that the publisher is Gaijin, I could easily see this being a major P2W or P2Progress game, which is unfortunate as it has a lot of potential, very fun, but I'm worried about the future, the game also runs pretty well." For now, the free demo offers a good glimpse of gameplay before the game's actual release.

If you're looking for another sci-fi action game, Star Wrath on Steam might be it. Just know that this could be the best time to play it. You have until June 22 to try it out, so don't miss it.
