Hayden Christensen made a rare red carpet appearance with his daughter Briar Rose at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art Opening Night Gala in L.A. on Saturday.
The 45-year-old actor, who is known for playing the role of Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise, flashed a cheerful smile while joined by Briar during the star-studded festivities.
Christensen shares the 11-year-old with ex and fellow actress Rachel Bilson. The pair had an on-and-off relationship from 2007 until their spit in 2017.
He was stylishly casual for the event in a pair of fitted jeans as well as a printed gray shirt and dark blue jacket.
For a finishing touch to the ensemble, the star slipped into a pair of brown shoes.
Christensen and his daughter paused for a brief photo session together upon arriving to the event.

The duo were later seen posing for more memorable snaps while inside the gala, which saw other celebrities in attendance such as Kim Kardashian and Katy Perry.
Daily Mail has reached out to reps of Christensen for comment, but has yet to hear back.
Christensen opened up about bringing his daughter along with him to the museum event while talking to E! News.
He called the moment 'special' and further told the outlet, 'We're very happy to be here, and it's a real treat to get to share this with my daughter.'
It was also revealed that Briar has briefly seen her dad as Darth Vader in Star Wars and offered her thoughts.
'It was really cool when I saw him up there,' the preteen gushed to the publication.
Last month in August, Christensen made rare comments about raising his daughter while attending the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event in California.
'I have a young daughter, and I love watching shows with her,' he told MTV UK, before sharing what she enjoys watching.

'Her favorite ones right now are Liv and Maddie and Henry Danger, so I enjoy getting to watch those with her.'
The actor continued, 'But when I'm on my own, I recently got into a show called The Agency with Michael Fassbender. It's really good.'
Christensen and Bilson first crossed paths while on set of the 2008 movie Jumper, and soon struck up a romance.
The two stars became engaged in 2009, but called off the engagement the following year. However, the pair reconciled and their daughter Briar was welcomed to the world in October 2014.
The former couple officially went their separate ways back in 2017.
Earlier this year in January, Bilson gave insight into her co-parenting relationship with Christensen during an episode of the Let's Be Honest With Kristen Cavallari podcast.
'We get along really well. We have been able to keep it very copacetic and nice for [Briar]. We weren't ever married so we figured out our own way, our own path,' the Hart Of Dixie actress explained.
'I'm really close to his family and it's been almost 19 years or something, which is a long time [ago]. It feels like [water under the bridge]...'

The star also reflected on her relationship with the Star Wars actor while stopping by the podcast.
'I was really young, and I think that relationship let me take a step back,' the actress recalled.
'I felt I was very present because I wasn't chasing the career thing. It wasn't number one for me, but I tend to do that. I tend to put relationships - but now my kid - first.'

Bilson continued, 'I think that it was just interesting to see that I put everything else on hold because I wanted to support and nurture that relationship. You just change so much.
'You watch The Bachelor and there's girls on there [who are] 23, and I'm, like, "Don't do it!"'
