Sister Wives star Janelle Brown introduced her fans to her new boyfriend Pete, which comes four years after she parted ways with Kody Brown in their spiritual marriage.
On Tuesday, the reality TV star, 57, shared a selfie to Instagram that showed her and her new beau embracing while standing in front of a creek.
'Some chapters are meant to unfold quietly before they’re shared,' Janelle said in the caption to more than 1.4 million Instagram followers. 'I wasn’t looking. I certainly wasn’t expecting you.
'And somehow, you turned out to be exactly what I didn’t know I needed. And it has been pretty wonderful.'
She concluded the romantic post in writing, 'Everyone please meet Pete.'
The romantic reveal came as a surprise to fans of the TLC series after Janelle in 2022 revealed she was parting ways with Kody, 57, following a spiritual marriage that lasted 29 years.
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Janelle Brown for further comment on the story.

Janelle and Kody initially exchanged vows in their spiritual marriage in 1993, and are parents to six children.
They include Logan, 32, Madison, 30, Hunter, 29, Gabriel, 24, and Savannah, 21; their late son Garrison tragically died via suicide in March of 2024 at the age of 25.
The new romance for Janelle came as a surprise to fans of the TLC series, as she had repeatedly made comments alluding to staying single in the wake of her split with Kody.
During a reunion show in 2023, Janelle said the topic was a complicated one for her, as she balanced her faith and her love life after her split with Kody.
She said at the time, 'I deeply believe in my faith. I have been so much at peace that I don't know how to reconcile that.
'So that's where my debate with myself is all the time because I know I'm happy. I don't want him to come back, but my faith requires that we are married eternally.'
She told People in January of 2024 that she didn't quite consider herself 'divorced' from Kody years after their parting.
'Because we never were legally married, I can't really say I'm divorced,' Janelle said at the time. 'I just say, "I'm no longer with" [him] when I explain it to outside people. I'm like, "I'm no longer with my partner."'

Janelle received a number of congratulatory remarks in the comment section as she announced her new relationship
Last year, while appearing on the podcast Sibling Revelry, Janelle indicated she hadn't been seeking a relationship.
'I'm not really interested in getting married again or even really dating at this stage,' Janelle said in the February 2025 interview. 'So I'm not even thinking about, like, 'Oh, what do I need to do?' Because I'm just like, I am over [it].'
Janelle in 2022 was the second of Kody's wives to part ways with him, as Christine Brown previously broke things off with him the year before, and went on to wed David Woolley in 2023.
Kody and wife Meri parted ways in late 2022, as he continues his marriage with Robyn Brown, who he wed in a legal marriage in 2014.
Janelle received a number of congratulatory remarks in the comment section as she announced her new relationship.
Her one-time sister wife Christine Brown Woolley wrote, 'He’s such an awesome guy!! They are so cute together and he’s a construction worker like David!!'
A fan added, 'I’ve never been so happy for someone I don’t know! congrats!'
One user remarked of the romantic pic, 'I needed this more than the Taylor Travis wedding pics.'
