Selena Gomez Sends Love to Benny Blanco Amid Buzz Over His Appearance
When you're ready, come and see Selena Gomez's hair transformation.
The Only Murders in the Building star recently swapped out the long bob she had been rocking for a little over a year, opting for a longer 'do in what her hairstylist Nikki Lee described as a "velvet edge cut."
"A little added length, softly structured layers," Nikki captioned photos of Selena's new hair in a Feb. 28 Instagram post, "and a superstar face."
Indeed, the 33-year-old dark locks now fall past her shoulders, with loose fringe delicately framing her face.
And Nikki is very familiar with Selena's tresses. After all, the Nine Zero One salon owner also worked with the "Love You Like a Love Song" singer ahead of her September wedding to Benny Blanco.
"I had the honor of prepping our girls hair before the wedding with a gloss and treatment," she detailed on Instagram at the time. "The result was dreamy."
For her walk down the aisle, Selena enlisted Renato Campora to style her locks.
"Each section is treated with Joico JoiWhip Design Foam from roots to ends, then blow-dried with a large round brush and pinned to set and cool," he shared in a statement to E! News. "I continued this technique across the entire head to achieve a voluminous and polished base. Once cooled, the hair is noticeably shiny, bouncy, and full of life."
Leaning into the Old Hollywood theme, Renato then "created a marcel wave pattern" using a three-quarter-inch spring curling iron, "pinning each curl to cool and hold its shape."

"Special attention is given to the face-framing pieces," he noted "which are shaped to highlight and enhance the facial structure."
The hairstylist added, "The final result: a flawless, timeless, healthy-looking Hollywood Glamour Marcel Wave Bob for a day that celebrates love, beauty, and perfection."
