Madison Beer Engaged to Justin Herbert After Nearly One Year of Dating
Roughly a year into dating, musician Madison Beer made football player Justin Herbert—and his roughly 9-carat diamond—hers.
"Meet my fiancé," the 27-year-old captioned a July 28 carousel of Instagram photos featuring her engagement to the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback.
As for the stats on her new accessory: KAY Jeweler's VP of Merchandising Lisa Ingram estimates the vintage-inspired elongated cushion cut diamond to be anywhere from seven to nine carats, with an upwards of $500,000 price tag.
But for the "Make You Mine" singer it's her teammate that's truly priceless.
"I feel taken care of in a way that I can break down and like I have someone to lean on," she explained of the two-time NFL Pro Bowler during a December appearance on Call Her Daddy. "And I think it’s important."
Though, much like her future spouse, her shiny new sparkler is forever.
So, yes, Taylor Swift was thrilled that now-husband Travis Kelce filled the blank space on the fourth finger of her left hand with a piece out of her wildest dreams.
"He designed it with this amazing jeweler," the 14-time Grammy winner detailed during an October appearance on the Heart Breakfast Show. "Kindred Lubreck is her name and she does all of her gold engraving by hand."
And before the owner of NYC-based Artifex Fine Jewelry crafted a diamond-encrusted wedding band for Swift, she constructed a true "Wi$h Li$t" design: A vintage-style 10-carat mine-cut diamond worth upwards of $1 million.
"I just thought her stuff was so cool," Swift detailed. "So I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out."
When he dropped to one knee in his flower-filled backyard, she added, "I was like, 'I know who made that, I know who made that!' And also, 'You listen to me.'"
It's a love story, baby, though Swift's not the only major star to have just said yes in the past year.
Close pal Zoë Kravitz accepted an elongated cushion-cut solitaire stone with a thin gold bezel from Harry Styles, while Sienna Miller has been accessorizing her 'fits with a round diamond courtesy of actor Oli Green.
