For context, that means each pack in the box goes from $5.49 down to $4.66. It doesn’t sound like a massive savings, but given the sheer volume of cards you’re getting (with 14 in each pack), you’re bound to get some very usable ones. Those include cards featuring Prepared spells, which feel like a “greatest hits” of spells from Magic’s long and storied past, like Ancestral Recall or Demonic Tutor, a series of new Elder Dragons, and the awesome new Emeritus cycle.
We’ve got a handy rundown of the best cards in the Secrets of Strixhaven set, but suffice it to say it’s a very impressive return to form after the middling response to the Universes Beyond Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles one.
