The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Jessi Draper is now out of legal hot water after her ex-husband's efforts at obtaining a restraining order against her were shut down.

Draper's estranged husband Jordan Ngatikaura filed a temporary restraining order against her on Monday - one which has now been denied, according to Page Six.

Ngatikaura filed for the restraining order on March 20, according to court documents seen by The Daily Mail.

The order was also opposed that same day by Draper, according to the documents.

A rep for Draper declined comment to The Daily Mail. Ngatikaura did not immediately respond to a comment request.

On Thursday it was claimed that Ngatikaura had filed for divorce from Draper after nearly six years of marriage.

They separated a year ago after tying the knot in 2020.

Ngatikaura issued a statement to The Sun: 'This has not been an easy decision and it comes with a heavy heart.

'I'm grateful for the shared memories and the lessons,' he said.

'While our paths are now moving in different directions, my priority remains my children and ensuring they feel loved, supported, and protected through this transition. I am committed to handling this next chapter with kindness and respect.'

She told People in November that she had received 'emotional abuse' from her husband but they were going through a 90-day separation while in therapy.

He also said to the site: 'I take full accountability for the pain I caused Jessi during our marriage.'

This comes after The Secret Lives Of Mormon Wives costar Taylor Frankie Paul has found herself in hot water.

Her season of the Bachelorette was canceled last week.

A source told People: 'All of the men were on the call with Warner Bros. except for the winner.

'The lawyers told them all their contracts will be in place for a year.'

ABC announced it was pulling the planned premiere of The Bachelorette after a 2023 video of Frankie, 31, throwing chairs at her ex-boyfriend Dakota Mortensen in the presence of her child was released by TMZ.

The clip was taken during an incident in 2023, for which Paul ultimately pleaded guilty to aggravated assault for.

In the now-viral video of the altercation between Paul and her ex, the reality star is seen having an outburst, throwing a stool at Mortensen, while a child, her daughter Indy, now eight, was present.

Mortensen, who was filming the incident, said in the clip: 'This is called physical abuse.'

The child can be heard crying as Mortensen and Paul continued fighting. Mortensen then said, 'Your daughter just got hit in the head by a metal chair.'

Together, they have a son named Ever, who is two years old. Paul also has a daughter, Indy, and a son, Ocean, with ex-husband Tate.

A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson said: 'In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family.'
