“Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie shared a video message on Instagram on Monday, saying, “We’re at an hour of desperation,” as she spoke about the disappearance of her mother, Nancy Guthrie.

“We believe our mom is still out there,” Savannah Guthrie said in the video. “We need your help. Law enforcement is working tirelessly around the clock trying to bring her home — trying to find her. She was taken and we don’t know where. And we need your help.”

She continued, “So I’m coming on just to ask you not just for your prayers, but no matter where you are — even if you’re far from Tuscon. If you see anything, if you hear anything, if there’s anything at all that seems strange to you — that you report to law enforcement. We are at an hour of desperation, and we need your help.”

Nancy Guthrie went missing on Jan. 31, and on Feb. 2, the Pima County Sheriff’s office declared her disappearance a crime. Sheriff Chris Nanos said that investigators found “concerning” evidence at her Arizona home, and that he believed Nancy Guthrie “did not leave on her own.”

On Thursday, the FBI, which is collaborating with the Pima County Sheriff’s Department on the investigation, offered a $50,000 reward to anyone who can provide information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie “and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.”

“The FBI has agents, analysts and professional staff employees working day and night with our partners at the sheriff’s department,” FBI Special Agent in Charge Heith Janke told reporters. “We have deployed additional intelligence and agents from our Phoenix office.”

Nanos, who also spoke during the press briefing, said authorities have not identified a suspect or person of interest.

Savannah Guthrie posted an emotional video to her Instagram on Wednesday, in which she and her two siblings, Camron and Annie, asked their mother’s kidnapper to send them a sign of life. In a follow-up video Saturday afternoon, the trio said they are willing to pay for Nancy’s return.

“We received your message, and we understand,” Savannah Guthrie said in the video. “We beg you now to return our mother to us so that we can celebrate with her. This is the only way we will have peace. This is very valuable to us, and we will pay.”
