RHOSLC's Jen Shah Gets Prison Sentence Reduced Again
Savannah Chrisley doesn’t know what the future holds for her dad Todd Chrisley.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum explained that she’s experiencing mixed emotions amid the upcoming closure of the Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Fla., where her father is serving time for committing tax evasion and bank fraud.
“It's a bittersweet feeling,” Savannah, 27—whose mom Julie Chrisley is also serving a prison sentence in Kentucky on the same charges—said on the Jan. 28 episode of her Unlocked podcast. “I am happy it's closing down because no human being should be subjected to the conditions or treatment that that facility gave. I'm sad that it's closing down because I don't know where he's gonna go. I don't know where they're gonna try and put him.”
The prison, where the 55-year-old has resided since beginning his sentence in January 2023, is set to cease operations as a way to “maximize resources and mitigate safety concerns,” according to a press release obtained by the Pensacola News Journal. The bureau will also make “every effort” to keep inmates within 500 miles of their current location, per the outlet.
“I hope and pray they abide by that policy,” Savannah continued, “because if not, you guys know I will fight tooth and nail.”

Prior to the announcement of the facility’s closure, Todd was dismissed from his administrative job at the Florida prison’s onsite chapel, his lawyer Jay Surgent told TMZ in October. The reality star helped organize religious services for various faiths alongside a chaplain before being removed from the role by prison officials, per the attorney.
At the time, a rep for the Federal Bureau of Prisons told the outlet, “For privacy reasons, we do not comment on the conditions of confinement for any incarcerated individual, including their work detail assignments.”
