Savannah Chrisley isn't holding back when it comes to sharing her opinions on The View. Chrisley, who has been filling in for Alyssa Farrah Griffin, who is on maternity leave following the birth of her firstborn son last week, got into a bit of a back-and-forth with the panel after she made a false claim about Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

It all went down during Wednesday's show, when the co-hosts entered into a Hot Topics discussion about Ocasio-Cortez's handling of a question about Taiwan at the Munich Security Conference earlier this month. In an attempt to answer, the New York Congresswoman fumbled over her words, and paused for several moments before giving what many are calling a "scattered" reply. While Joy Behar understood the criticism thrown AOC's way, she took the moment to remind viewers of Donald Trump's multiple on-camera mishaps.

"Check him out before you start attacking AOC," the 83-year-old quipped.

The Chrisley Knows Best star had her own take, however, telling Behar: "Mispronouncing a word is totally different than not knowing your position on Taiwan."

What's important is how you recover from something. Trump, he's done things, and then he's continued on with his speech, and then continued on to meet with world leaders. So, the recovery is what matters, and AOC just didn't have a recovery.

"He does it over and over again," Behar pointed out. "How about the quantity?"

That's when moderator Whoopi Goldberg stepped in, stressing that Trump is the president, and therefore more should be expected of him, especially when it comes to addressing foreign policy. And while she can put up with fumbled answers "from congresspeople," Goldberg said she "can't take it from the guy who says he's the leader of the free world."

"I understand that wholeheartedly. AOC, though, is also the Democrats' pick for the next election," Chrisley replied, earning her almost immediate push-back from the panel, with both Goldberg and Sara Haines shaking their heads.

"No, no, no!" Goldberg corrected, with Behar adding: "You better tell that to Gavin Newsom!" Sunny Hostin, the show's resident legal expert, also stepped in to shut Chrisley's claim down, pointing out that Ocasio-Cortez has "made it pretty clear that she's not running for president" in 2028.

Chrisley has had a complicated relationship with the show over the years, leading some viewers at home to question why she joined the panel. In a December episode of her Unlocked podcast, Chrisley explained to her listeners that while these are the same women who "bashed" both her and her family, she wanted to go on the show in an effort to step "out of her comfort zone" and do something that challenges her.

I'm going outside my comfort zone by going on a show where there’s four or five women who all believe one way — and I believe differently. I'm excited for it because I know God’s hand is going to be on me throughout that entire experience.

"I like doing things that challenge me, [and] I like doing things that educate me," she added.

While Chrisley will only be at the table through the end of the week, she's not the only guest host slated to join The View amid Griffin's absence. Amanda Carpenter, Sheryl Underwood, comedian Whitney Cummings, and former View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck, are all pegged to step in.
