Sarah Michelle Gellar, 47, flaunts her sculpted legs in a tiny miniskirt as she dashes around NYC

Sarah Michelle Gellar flaunted her sculpted legs in a tiny miniskirt when she was spotted out in New York City this Wednesday.

The 47-year-old has enjoyed a couple of weeks of globetrotting, spending Thanksgiving in Australia and then being glimpsed in Brazil.

Now, however, she has returned to the United States and was seen dashing around the city that never sleeps this week.

For her latest outing, the Buffy The Vampire Slayer star modeled a barely-there pleated black miniskirt over a set of white shorts.

She emphasized her impressively lithe torso in a tightly fitted black blazer top that offered a stylish contrast to her flaxen hair. 

Emphasizing her luminous complexion with makeup, the Cruel Intentions actress brought the ensemble together with a set of heels.

Keeping herself prepared for a potential drop in temperatures, Sarah slung a long black coat over one of her arms as she stepped out in New York.

She could be seen refreshing herself with a large iced coffee and flashing her signature radiant grin as she pounded the pavement.

Sarah's latest sighting comes after she spent Thanksgiving in Australia with her husband Freddie Prinze Jr. and their children Charlotte, 14, and Rocky, 11.

Freddie has been in Sydney to film the sequel of his beloved 1997 thriller I Know What You Did Last Summer, in which he played fisherman Ray Bronson.

Sarah was also one of the stars of the original movie, but her character Helen Shivers is murdered in that film, so she will not be in the follow-up.  

Sharing some family photos from her Sydney trip, she wrote: 'Thanksgiving looks a little different this year. Yet one thing doesn’t change, I’m still extremely grateful.'

In a joke about the time difference between America and Australia, she wrote: 'Also since I’m basically in the future…. The Black Friday sales are [fire].'

Then last Friday she arrived in Sao Paolo, Brazil to attend the convention CCXP24, formerly known as the Comic Con Experience. 

Sarah's fans will next be able to see her in the upcoming TV show Dexter: Original Sin, a sequel to the smash hit Showtime drama Dexter.

The original Dexter series starred Michael C. Hall as a blood spatter analyst leading a secret life as a serial killer who targets murderers. 

Now a prequel series is in the works, starring Patrick Gibson, 29, as the young Dexter in 1990s Miami, in the early stages of his bloodthirsty vocation.

Sarah will feature as Tanya Martin, who is his boss as he begins his career in forensics at the Miami Metro Police Department.
