Sam Wood's stepdaughter Eve posted a video talking up Noosa as a great destination just hours before her father was charged with domestic violence offences.

The 21-year-old influencer, who is Sam's wife Snezana's daughter from a previous relationship, shared a social media clip on Friday in which she was seen happily strolling through the Queensland suburb of Noosa, telling fans how great it was.

The footage was filmed by Eve's mother Snezana, as the pair appeared to enjoy a sunny day out on Friday.

'It is a beautiful sunny day in Noosa. I am just off to grab a coffee and something to eat,' Eve began.

'I grabbed this [outfit] here, it is the perfect little summer set. Mum accidentally filmed this is slow motion so apologies for the quality!'

The footage was uploaded on Saturday, just hours before Eve's stepfather was arrested when police attended a property on Noosa's main street about 9pm.

The Bachelor star, 46, did not appear in Maroochydore Magistrates Court on Monday, with the matter instead dealt with by his lawyer, Mathew Cuskelly.

Mr Cuskelly asked for the case to be relisted on Thursday, when Wood is expected to apply for bail.

The celebrity fitness trainer will remain in the local watchhouse until at least Thursday, when the case is due to return to court.

A police spokesperson said officers attended the Hastings Street address at about 9pm on Saturday after receiving reports of alleged domestic violence.

'Police have charged a 46-year-old Victorian man with domestic violence offences early this morning, 4 October,' the spokesperson said.

'The man has been charged with assault occasioning bodily harm (domestic violence) and strangulation in a domestic setting.'

Following the alleged incident, a now-deleted TikTok video has resurfaced in which Wood makes a joke about strangling his wife, Snezana, while discussing how he resists late-night food cravings.

The Daily Mail does not suggest the video implies Wood is guilty of the offences he is charged with.

'How about a little KitKat? This is the time of night the fridge starts calling to me, but it is closed for business. This is the time the pantry starts whispering its sweet-nothings to me - come and have a chocolate biscuit,' he says in the footage.

Wood then said he enlisted the help of his wife Snezana to hide his favourite treats from him, but said he would push back when cravings struck.

'I talk to Snez and I get her to hide all the stuff that I like from me. Then even if I am strangling her to death she will not give it up,' he added.

The court developments come after Wood and Snezana, who met on The Bachelor in 2015, publicly addressed the allegations together on Monday morning.

'This is a difficult time for all of us, we are working through this as a family and are thoroughly co-operating with the authorities,' they said, sharing the statement on both of their Instagram accounts.

The multi-million-dollar wellness businesses fronted by Wood have also responded to the allegations and stood him down.

Wood founded fitness and training business 28 by Sam Wood, which he sold for $71 million to DBG Health in 2022 while remaining the face of the online platform under its new owner.

'DBG Health, the parent company of 28 by Sam Wood, has zero tolerance for domestic violence,' a DBG Health spokesperson said.

'While the matter is under investigation and before the court, Sam Wood is on indefinite leave from his duties. Our thoughts are with the family and anyone in the community affected by domestic violence.'

The fitness entrepreneur married Snezana in an outdoor ceremony in Byron Bay in 2018.

They went on to have three children together, Willow, eight, Charlie, seven, and Harper, four.

They also co-parent  Eve, 21, who is Snezana's daughter from a previous relationship.
