Angelina Jolie and Nicole Kidman were among the A-list stars who were snubbed out of Screen Actors Guild Awards 2025 nominations.

Angelina, 49, and Nicole, 57, were noticeably left off of the list of finalists for the coveted SAG Award given by their peers as nominations were announced on Wednesday morning.

They were not the only stars who failed to be recognized by the American labor union of thespians  as Jennifer Lopez, Zendaya, Selena Gomez, Sebastian Stan, Kate Winslet, Denzel Washington, Tilda Swinton, Elle Fanning, Margaret Qualley, and Stanley Tucci all didn't make the cut.

Both Angelina and Nicole had been nominated for Golden Globes Awards during Sunday's ceremony as they were both beat out by Brazilian actress Fernanda Torres in the Best Actress in a drama Film category for her effort in I'm Still Here.

Angelina was the lead actress in Maria which is centered around the world's greatest opera singer Maria Callas during the last days of her life in the 1970s as she confronts her identity and life.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman starred in Babygirl where she portrayed a high-powered CEO that puts her career and family on the line when she begins a torrid affair with her much-younger intern.

JLo,  55, failed to be recognized for her work as the mother of collegiate wrestler Anthony Robles who was born with one leg and won a national championship in 2011 while competing at Arizona State University.

Zendaya, 28, failed to be recognized for her work in Challengers as Tashi, a former tennis prodigy that turned coach, transformed her husband into a champion. But to overcome a recent losing streak and redeem himself, he'll need to face off against his former best friend and Tashi's ex-boyfriend.

Meanwhile, the live broadcast where the nominations for the 31st annual event were to be read out loud was canceled to the rapidly-moving Los Angeles fires and instead SAG-AFTRA shared the nominations online via press release.

Pamela Anderson, Demi Moore, Zoe Saldana and Timothée Chalamet were all recognized for their performances.

Jane Fonda is set to be honored with the SAG Life Achievement Award, becoming the 60th recipient of the ceremony's highest tribute.

Kristen Bell will host the SAG Awards, which will stream live on Netflix on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 8 p.m. ET from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall in Los Angeles. Bell, 44, previously hosted the show in 2018.

Box office smash Wicked and Golden Globe winner Emilia Perez landed nominations for the top film honor at Hollywood's Screen Actors Guild Awards on Wednesday.

Wicked‘s other nominations are for best actress (Cynthia Erivo), best supporting actress (Ariana Grande), best supporting actor (Jonathan Bailey) and stunt ensemble.

The other nominees for the SAG award for best movie cast were the Bob Dylan biopic A Complete Unknown, papal selection drama Conclave and Anora, the story of a sex worker who marries the son of a Russian oligarch.

The SAG awards are closely watched because they are voted on by members of the SAG-AFTRA actors union.

And actors form the largest group of voters for the Oscars, the film industry's top prizes that will be bestowed in March.
