Why Ryan Seacrest Canceled His RSVP to Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce Wedding
Ryan Seacrest is showing off his rockin’ bod.
The American Idol host proved he’s putting in the hours at the gym as he shared a new shirtless photo flaunting his washboard abs.
In the pic shared to his Instagram Oct. 3, the New Year’s Rockin’ Eve host could be seen soaking up the sun as he donned nothing but black swim trunks and sunglasses, giving fans a close up look at his rock-solid midsection and buff arms as he looked up towards the sky.
Meanwhile, the post’s second slide shared a glimpse into how he achieved his ripped body transformation, featuring a video of Seacrest holding onto a bike as he flexed his back muscles.
“This is what a day off looks like from start to finish,” he captioned the post. “Go dawgs @georgiafootball.”
Among others who have been instrumental in his fitness journey, Seacrest tagged celebrity trainer Dodd Romero in the post, who has worked with the likes of Lenny Kravitz and Jennifer Lopez.
And while fans are just now getting up close and personal with the 51-year-old’s gains, he’s been working on his health with Romero for quite some time now.
“I have met a lot of great men but only a few good men,” Romero wrote on Instagram in November 2025 alongside a video of Seacrest pumping iron, “and @ryanseacrest is one of the good ones left.”
But their gym sessions don’t stop there. After all, Romero uploaded a separate video that month, sharing more insight into the Wheel of Fortune host’s grueling workout routine.

From the clip, it’s clear Seacrest never skips leg day as he’s seen squatting with a massive dumbbell between his legs. Indeed, he also straps into some ankle before doing donkey kicks and fire hydrants.
And in case you were wondering the price of Seacrest’s defined abs, well that would be weighted sit-ups, crunches and planks.
“Life is what you make of it,” Romero wrote alongside the post. “The first step to that plan is to feed your soul so your body can follow.”
Previously, Seacrest shed light on his approach to health and wellness.

"I feel good because I can't believe I'm turning 50," he told Entertainment Tonight in October 2024. "I'm doing everything I can to make myself feel like I'm not 50."
And as Seacrest noted, that includes taking it easy, a lesson he learned after having to undergo an elbow surgery in 2012 for a torn tendon.
At the time, he shared he was "over-exercising, eating better, over-training" in an effort to reverse some of the aging process, but emphasized the intense work also requires "lots of recovery, lots of muscle recovery.”
And now that Seacrest has found the perfect balance for his body, he joked that he was doing everything he could "to make myself feel 29 again."
