Adam Blevins began working in the entertainment industry in 2022 as a Staff Writer for Agents of Fandom, where he progressed to Senior Editor and interviewed talent from Marvel Studios, House of the Dragon, and Planet of the Apes. He joined Collider as a News Author in April 2024, was promoted to a Senior position in December 2024, and has written over 3,000 articles for the site, including exclusives relating to Avengers: Doomsday, The Penguin, Star Wars: Skeleton Crew, and more. He primarily writes about the latest box office numbers and the hottest movies and TV shows on streaming, while also covering superhero and sci-fi news. He has completed a set visit for The Chosen and even has several months of experience writing Gaming Features at ScreenRant. You can find him on X, LinkedIn, and Muckrack.

Russell Crowe may not be the forceful leading performer that he once was, but that hasn’t stopped him from starring in new movies almost every year. To close out 2025, Crowe starred in his long-awaited WWII courtroom drama, Nuremberg, which was something of a passion project of his that he invested heavily into getting to the big screen. After grossing over $50 million in theaters, the film is now streaming on Netflix. Crowe is also hard at work filming his next big action movie with Henry Cavill, which is a Highlander reboot from director Chad Stahelski. Crowe and Cavill previously worked together on Man of Steel, the 2013 comic book movie written by Christopher Nolan and directed by Zack Snyder, so the duo has some established chemistry.

It’s been less than six months since Nuremberg hit theaters everywhere, but Crowe is already lining up his next project. He’s been tapped to star in a supporting role in Beast, a new MMA thriller, along with Daniel MacPherson, Luke Hemsworth, Bren Foster, Amy Shark, Mojean Aria, and Kelly Gale. Lionsgate has released the first official trailer for the film, which Crowe also wrote, ahead of its April 10 release date. A full synopsis of the film from director Tyler Atkins can also be found below:

“After years away from the cage, a once-feared MMA champion is pulled back in for the fight of his life when his younger brother is put in danger. Reuniting with the trainer who once made him a legend, he commits to one final showdown against the reigning title-holder — a brutal fighter determined to dismantle the ex-champ’s legacy in front of the world. Pushed to his breaking point, the contender’s stakes are simple: win, or lose everything he’s built.”

Are There Any Other Russell Crowe Movies on Netflix?

Crowe has several movies streaming on Netflix right now in addition to the newly-added Nuremberg. Fans can also check out Crowe with his Beast co-star Luke Hemsworth in Land of Bad, the war movie starring Crowe as a drone pilot who watches out over a group of special forces soldiers from above. Boy Erased, Crowe’s 2018 film with Nicole Kidman, is also streaming on Netflix, along with Kraven the Hunter, his big-budget comic book movie featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Check out the official trailer for Beast and stay tuned to Collider for more updates and coverage of the film.
