Ruby Modine, Cody Saintgnue, James Paxton and More Join Indie Drama ‘Sicklerville’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Upcoming independent coming-of-age drama “Sicklerville” has announced its ensemble cast.

Ruby Modine (“Happy Death Day”), Cody Saintgnue (“Teen Wolf”), James Paxton (“Last Train to Fortune”), Timothy Griffin Allan (“I Saw the TV Glow”), David Anders (“iZombie”), Bailey Denmark, Riley Jackson, and Felissa Rose (“Sleepaway Camp”) are all set to star in the 2008-based drama.

Filmed in South Jersey, “Sicklerville” follows a group of friends over the course of one chaos-filled night as addiction, buried resentments and dreams of leaving their hometown threaten to divide them forever. As the night progresses, tensions rise and loyalties are tested, with each character forced to confront whether they’re destined to repeat the cycles of their hometown or finally break free.

Modine stars Chelsea and Denmark stars as Ashley. Paxton will appear as Michael, an aspiring filmmaker desperate to leave town, while Saintgnue will play Eric, whose reckless choices accelerate the night’s unravelling. Allan will portray Chuck, a magnetic and dangerous presence, and Anders will appear as Old Head Rick, a hardened local. Jackson will appear in a supporting role, with Rose rounding out the ensemble.

“Sicklerville” is written by Jason-Christopher Mayer and Gage Golightly. The pair will also direct and produce under the Frog Otto Picture Company banner alongside Gala Avary under her Monthly Rose shingle. Production is scheduled to begin this spring, with the feature set to be shot entirely on 16mm.

Modine is represented by David Hryck, and Paxton is with Authentic Talent. Saintgnue is represented by Treadwell Entertainment Group, and Allan is with Stewart Talent. Denmark is represented by Henderson Represents.
