Rita Ora has opened up about her personal struggles with body image, revealing that therapy has helped her navigate insecurities around her appearance.
The British singer, 35, frequently shares insights into her fitness and wellness routines, but admitted that she still has moments of self-doubt and has to remind herself that health matters more than weight.
Speaking to The Sun, Rita said: 'I’ve tried my best to remember that when I’m thinking: "Oh, gosh, I’m not the exact weight I want to be," that all of that stuff is not real, what’s real is how you show up.
Acknowledging that some may dismiss her comments, she added: 'I know when people read this they’ll say: "Well, that’s easy for you to say because you look a certain way," but I don’t always feel a certain way. I think that’s something to remember.'
With pressure around appearance running deep in the music industry, Rita credited therapy with helping her shift her mindset.
She said: 'I’ve just stopped honestly caring about what other people think. I’ve started to do more therapy and it’s all been my process. I tell my fans: "Don’t worry if you haven’t got it figured out yet. No one has."

Rita opened up about how her relationship with her body has changed in recent years, as she revealed she used to feel like her body wasn't 'hot'.
'I think for me the idea of looking a certain way in my late 20s, that's when it started to hit me because my stamina was low, I wasn't looking after my body, I was getting sick a lot and I didn't feel like my body was hot,' Rita said.
'And I didn't accept the idea of okay well I'm not as thin as these other people - and so I'm ugly. And that's really sad to think back on because I know I wasn't.
'It's like what you do when you're attacking your younger self like in therapy, and it's like that girl was still really beautiful.'
Sharing the clip on Instagram, Rita wrote: 'I sat down with @Dove and @HappyPlaceOfficial to share why I believe body confidence starts with self care focusing on what your body needs - not what it looks like.
'Proud to partner with the Dove Self Esteem Project on #Why2k - together we’re rewriting the rules and helping women build body confidence.'
