Tilly Whitfeld welcomed her first child with rugby player Tommy Latu in January, and now the Big Brother star has revealed the shock trauma she suffered during birth.
The new mother, 25, revealed earlier this year that her son's birth did not go smoothly, as she was rushed into an emergency C-section.
Now, in a video shared to Instagram on Wednesday, Tilly has said the experience was so traumatic she doesn't even remember meeting her baby.
'I did not realise how common birth trauma is,' she said in the clip as she cradled her son, named Western Fonua Latu.
'I thought it was kind of like a unique and selfish experience. I'm obviously aware that people are struggling to have children and people would do anything to be pregnant.
'I was told I could never have children, so I understand that experience as well.'
Tilly Whitfeld, 25, welcomed her first child with rugby player Tommy Latu, 24, in January, and now the Big Brother star has revealed the shock trauma she suffered during birth
'I was already so scared of hospitals and doctors when I went to give birth,' she added, revealing she had 'medical trauma' from receiving breast implants.
'So me thinking it would go all natural and everything would be fine, and then having an emergency C-section after pushing for two hours and being in labour.
'It sounds pathetic, but the whole thing was like f***. The epidural wasn't working on one side. To get a spinal as well.
'Had an asthma attack because I had pregnancy asthma, and a spinal and epidural makes your lungs do weird s***. Then I was throwing up everywhere.
'I was shaking so violently. I have no memory of meeting him [her son]. None. Videos is all I have. When I got home, I sat in bed for six weeks.
'I was not well in the head after it.'
Tilly went on to reveal that since welcoming her son to the world, she has received numerous DMs from women who have had similar experiences with difficult births.
'I'm grateful to have a baby but also, in parallel, your experience can be f***ed up. To the point you wouldn't want another one [baby],' she said.

The new mother revealed earlier this year that her son's birth did not go smoothly, as she was rushed into an emergency C-section
Tilly and Tommy, 24, announced the arrival of their son in an Instagram post in January.
'Western Fonua Latu,' the caption began, as the couple shared the little boy's sweet and unusual name.
'A 20-hour labour and two hours pushing ended in an emergency C-section, but our lives are changed forever,' they continued.
'So grateful for the midwives and doctors that get these babies earthside. We appreciate you all so much for checking in - the newborn love bubble is so real.'
Alongside the announcement was a video that showed details of the birth - and Tommy's new tattoo to honour his son.
The reality star and rugby union player announced they were expecting in August last year.
In the sweet clip, Tilly held up a positive pregnancy test while showing off her growing bump in a white crop top and low-waisted skirt.
'You guys, do you think this is positive? Do I look pregnant?' Tilly joked.
Tilly and Tommy named their son Western Fonua Latu
Tommy chimed in, hilariously asking, 'Who did that?' as he pointed at his partner's belly.
The video went on to show a montage of the couple telling their loved ones that they were expecting a baby boy.
'We're pregnant?! A post we didn't think we'd be making this soon… this was not on our 2025 bingo card, but we're so excited for this next chapter,' the caption read.
'To our little boy - we cannot wait to meet you, you're already loved more than you'll ever know.'
Tilly and the rugby star met four years ago while partying in Sydney's Northern Beaches.
The couple went Instagram official in January 2022, with Tilly telling Daily Mail at the time she was in love with the strapping sportsman.
