Real Housewives of Potomac personality Mia Thornton has announced her split from boyfriend Incognito.

The 40-year-old housewife — who sparked engagement rumors in January 2024 — and Incognito, who also goes by Inc, dated for about one year before Thornton confirmed their breakup to The Shade Room this week.

'Inc is my best friend and perfect in so many ways, but I have decided to focus on my children and maintaining a healthy co-parenting relationship with their father,' she explained. The two initially dated in high school.

Mia fueled speculation that she and Inc called it quits after she shared a New Year's Eve selfie with estranged husband Gordon Thornton.

'NEW Year. New Beginnings. Cheers to living life to the fullest,' she wrote to her 363,000 Instagram followers on Tuesday.

She added, '#momanddad #nye2025,' and her handle has remained @MrsMiaThornton despite their separation in June 2023.

The separation came after 11 years of marriage, but the spouses have yet to finalize their divorce.

They share son Jeremiah, nine, and daughter Juliana, seven.

Mia is also mother to a teenage son named Joshua from a previous relationship.

Earlier this week she appeared on social media to share snapshots with her two younger children from their visit to Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.

'Family Traditions. ♥️ Christmas @biltmoreestate,' she wrote in her Instagram caption.

One month before announcing her latest breakup, Thornton discussed the possibility of having children with Incognito.

She told Bravo's The Daily Dish, 'Inc does want more children. We’re gonna take our time, and I’m not opposed to having a surrogate, but he wants me to carry. And he wants to have two more, so pray for me.'

The star added, 'We’re taking our time, and when the time comes we will make that decision. But I’m definitely exploring options, like freezing my eggs and things like that.'

The mom-of-three went on to note, 'Because you know my biological clock is ticking. It might have tocked.'

Expanding on her relationship dynamic, she explained, 'I wanted to just make sure that we’re doing things the proper way.... We want to enjoy each other, and then we can add more children to our roster.

Mia went public with Incognito in 2023, months after sharing her separation from Gordon.

And she spilled about co-parenting with her ex: 'It has its ups, it has its downs, but I am fortunate that I do have someone to co-parent with. Gordon is a great father, and he is present.'

She continued, 'He [lives] in my [apartment] building, so he’s very much so in the kids' day-to-day [lives].

'And, as far as Inc is concerned, he’s definitely in the mix when it comes to just navigating the day-to-day. But I would say that a lot of the responsibility of parenting does fall back on me and Gordon, right, 'cause we’re their parents. But [Inc's] there.'
