Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Sutton Stracke said her son Philip is planning to enter the priesthood.

Stracke, 54, who shares daughter Porter, 24, and sons Philip, 22 and James, 19, with ex-husband Christian Stracke, explained her son's educational aims while appearing on Radio Andy.

The Bravo star said that she wept after Philip shared with her his future plans after he graduated from the South Carolina-based military college, The Citadel.

Stracke said of her son's pivot into the religious life, 'It was such a big decision.

'You're in seminary school for six years and then you become a deacon of the church and then you join the priesthood.'

Stracke said that Philip was open-minded as he takes the next step in his education.

'He's like, "If it doesn't work out, I can leave" which I thought was a good positive outlook on it, because you learn a lot in seminary,' Stracke said.

Stracke was pictured with her son Philip last month as he attended a friend's wedding at the Citadel Boat House in Charleston, South Carolina.

'Soaking in all the moments with the middle while I can,' she said. 'Invited to join him as he attended a wedding as a groomsman for the first time for his Citadel classmate was an honor.'

She continued, 'This Mother’s Day Month of May continues to fill my heart with joy as the two of us enjoy the calm and yet exciting way of the low country of SC. Mystical and perfect.'

Sutton in 2022 opened up about her middle child's future ambitions on an episode of the Bravo reality series, saying he had wanted to enlist in the army in contrast to his 'comfortable' upbringing.

Stracke said, 'You know, he lives a nice life. I said, "Oh, well, I'll make you uncomfortable then."

'I sent him to Georgia when it was gonna be 105 degrees with 100 percent humidity. I made him get a job. He had to be there at 5:30 in the morning to deliver vending machine Cokes and stuff.'

Stracke said after a month of that, Philip decided 'he wanted to go to college.'

Sutton and ex-husband Christian were wed from 2000 until 2016.

She said on an episode of the program's 15th season that her ex-husband had wanted to have their marriage annulled by the Catholic Church a decade after they parted ways.

Speaking with Bravo's The Daily Dish late last year, Stracke opened up about how she balanced her love life with parenting.

'I always like dating ... I'm a dating app girl,' she said. 'I've been really busy, my son [James] went to college in August and so kind of dealing with, you know, everybody's questioning the empty nesting.

'My other son [Philip] is a senior this year in college, so, as you know, they take up time and my business has grown. So that's more important to me than dating.'
