Priyanka Chopra Jonas, one of the highest-paid Indian actresses, has built a career spanning Bollywood and Hollywood.
Despite her success, the film star, 42, admitted the uncertainty of an acting career gives her anxiety and that she finds it difficult to turn down roles as a result.
'My job is uncertain. It's not a cheque coming in every month, so it creates an anxiety,' she told Harper's Bazaar UK.
'I'm a greedy actor. I love my job very much.'
The actress, who has starred in Quantico and Baywatch, is married to Nick Jonas, and the couple share a daughter, Malti Marie, born via surrogate in 2022.
Despite her £60 million net worth, which she shares with her husband, Chopra Jonas said she enjoys 'the simpler things in life: taking a walk, getting ice-cream, reading a book.'

She described herself as deeply sentimental: 'I'm a Cancer – I cry at the drop of a hat. I love my family, I live to eat.
'I like talking about dinner when I'm having my lunch. And my job is just the opposite – I look great with a weapon in my hand.'
Cooking, however, is not her forte.
'I eat,' she said, 'but I'm not very helpful in the kitchen. It feels intimidating to me.
'My father wasn't a big fan of me learning how to cook. Growing up in India, he always saw the women in his family in the kitchen while the men were eating. So he was very clear that I wouldn't do that.'
Chopra Jonas' journey to fame was an unexpected one.
At 12, she moved to the US to live with relatives in Iowa and convinced her parents to let her stay through high school.
When she returned to India at 17, her younger brother, hoping to reclaim his room, suggested their mother submit her photos to the Miss India 2000 competition.

She placed second but soon after won Miss World, propelling her into films.
'At that time, [beauty pageants] were looked on as a platform to jump into movies,' she said.
Offers flooded in, and she quickly became one of India's most successful actresses – and her brother got his room back.
Beyond acting, Chopra Jonas has proven to be a sharp businesswoman.
She invested in multiple companies, including the dating app Bumble.
'We took it to India, which was cool because my brother met his fiancée on the app. For once, he was grateful for something I did! They're so cute. I love love.'
