When it comes to great legal thrillers, few shows have developed as big of a following in the 2020s as The Lincoln Lawyer. The show is based on the hit series of novels by Michael Connelly, and it’s been on the air since 2022, releasing new seasons on a yearly basis. If Connelly’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he also wrote the books that inspired the Bosch series on Prime Video starring Titus Welliver. Earlier this year, after the debut of Season 4, Netflix announced that The Lincoln Lawyer had been renewed for Season 5, but the streamer later went back and announced that it would also be the final season of the show. Netflix has already greenlit a full spin-off show based on Cobie Smulders character, though, but no word yet on when it will be released.
