Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen shares grisly photo of stitched-up face after being robbed at gunpoint

Pretty Little Liars star Keegan Allen has given fans an update after he was robbed at gunpoint in West Hollywood on Thursday evening.

The actor, 37, who is best known for playing Toby Cavanaugh on the hit show, took to Instagram on Saturday to share a photo of four stitches above his eye.

He told his 8.3 million followers that he is 'healing,' and added that he 'will update more soon.'

Allen expressed gratitude as he continued, 'Thank you to medical at (sic) and law enforcement and everyone reaching out.'

Days ago, the star shared a shocking video showing blood dripping down the side of his head after the assault, during which thieves allegedly stole his watch after striking him numerous times.

He captioned the video, 'West Hollywood is not safe anymore. Robbed at gunpoint and knifepoint by two young men that threatened to KILL me over my watch and would have! God said no tonight. My life for a watch.'

He went on to say, 'Will update more soon. Let’s hope all these flock cameras that @karenbassla @gavinnewsom and everyone thinks will stop crime can find these very dangerous criminals. God bless.'

In the video, a dazed Allen said, 'I was just robbed outside of Laurel Supply. Two dudes pointed a gun at me and a knife. Call the police.'

Surveillance footage, which appeared to have been taken from a parking lot, showed two suspects approaching Allen as he opened his car door.

They point weapons at him, before hitting him in the head several times.

A spokesman for the West Hollywood Sheriff's Department confirmed to the Daily Mail the attack happened on Santa Monica Boulevard at approximately 9:05pm.

The statement read, 'Upon arrival, deputies contacted a male adult, who stated he was approached by two male adults dressed in black clothing. One suspect pointed a silver handgun at the victim while the other pointed a knife and demanded the victim’s watch and bracelet.

'Shortly after, the victim was struck in the face with the handgun. The suspects obtained the victim’s watch and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle.

'The victim sustained a laceration to his forehead. Los Angeles County Fire responded to the location and medically evaluated the victim; however, he was not transported to hospital.

'Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact West Hollywood Station Detectives at 310-855-8850.'

Allen later told fans in his Instagram comment section that he did go to hospital and was '[definitely] concussed.'

He added, 'weho is so unsafe' and that the area is a 'hell hole.'

Allen is best known as the love interest of Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario), on the mystery series Pretty Little Liars, a role he played from 2010-2017.

He has since starred on crime drama series Walker and appeared in an episode of police procedural, The Rookie, this year.
