Pokémon Winds and Waves are due in 2027, and it looks like in the meantime, fans won't be seeing any new information related to the upcoming Gen 10 games. The only trailer we've gotten showed off the new starter Pokémon and some returning ones, but we haven't seen anywhere close to all the new additions to the Gen 10 Pokédex.

As shared on Reddit, user Confident-Garden-147 shared a screenshot from Pokémon Legends: Z-A along with the message, "Saw this in a recent leak post: 'There is an Easter egg for a new Poison-type Pokémon that will debut in Wi/Wa, hidden in plain sight in Corbeau's office in ZA.' And curiosity got the best of me - check this out."

The image shows what appears to be a three-eyed octopus carved into the wood in Corbeau's office. As the original post states, "Poison-typing would be on brand for blue ring octopus, which are almost native to the proposed inspiration area."

Plenty of people are on board with the idea. "Poison-psychic blue-ringed octopus would go crazy," reads the top comment. "Nice discovery. I can see this being legit," reads another.

And it seems like most people are pretty excited about the idea of a new Pokémon that's based on the IRL blue-ringed octopus. As the original poster suggests, a third eye could hint that it's a dual type of Poison and Psychic, which has only excited fans even more.

It's worth noting that this isn't the first time fans have thought they've found a new Pokémon hiding in plain sight. The original trailer for Winds and Waves shows some clouds that many believe are hinting at a new Legendary. It's also worth noting that the Legends: Z-A theory is based on a leak, so it may not even be true.

Still, there's no denying the image shared on Reddit looks a lot like a three-eyed octopus, and it doesn't resemble any Pokémon we know of. If Legends: Z-A really is hiding a new Pokémon in Corbeau's office, then this certainly looks like it could be the one. As excited as everyone is, hopefully we'll get official confirmation the next time new details on Pokémon Winds and Waves are shared.
