Pokémon Fans Are Loving This New LEGO Leak

It Could Be Big For LEGO Fans

According to a leak from a user named "got.cooped," it looks like we have a clear look at the LEGO Eevee mold. It's arriving in "Set 72154," otherwise known as the Poke Ball set. This follows the leaked reveal of three more sets: Munchlax (72150), Arcanine (72160), and Rayquaza (72168). Now, Eevee joins the fray, and we know what the mold is going to look like.

"I don’t think anyone can dispute that this looks fantastic," one user writes. "I’m actually angry that it’s so good; I was hoping to pass on the Pokeball set since I’m already considering Rayquaza and Arcanine," another chimes in.

Another fan is expecting big things from the LEGO tie-in overall: "Yep, it looks very close to a real Eevee while still maintaining that LEGO style. LEGO is going to make so much money with the Pokémon IP—I wouldn’t be surprised if by 2027 Pokémon overtakes Star Wars as their biggest license." One user also writes, "This is so much more interesting to me than the big statues," a sentiment many people seem to share.

Others are cautiously optimistic: "Genuinely never thought we’d never see stuff like this happen. I thought for sure Lego would be weird about minifigure scale stuff like they were with Mario for so long, but nope, here we are with a ‘lil Eevee figure for minifigures. I’m still upset at Mega’s loss of the license… but I won’t deny this kind of stuff is getting me interested in trying to buy a few of the Lego sets now. At least, whenever the minifigure scale stuff won’t be locked behind a $260 price tag."

IP LEGO Lines Are Expensive

With all this positivity in mind, IP-based LEGO tie-ins are expensive. Here's everything offered so far:

  • Kanto Starter Evolutions (Blastoise, Venosaur, Charizard) - $649.99 USD
  • Pikachu & Poke Ball - $199.99 USD
  • Eeevee - $59.99 USD
  • Munchlax - $79.99 USD
  • Arcanine - $114.99 USD
  • Rayquaza - 149.99 USD

There are also two more sets that are being offered in unorthodox ways:

  • Kanto Region Badge Collection (free with purchase of the Kanto Starter SKU)
  • Mini Pokémon Center (only available to LEGO Insiders for 2500 Points)

As Pokémon soars in 2026, expect even more releases to drop across a variety of lines. Even though the next mainline game isn't out for roughly a year at minimum, there's plenty of stuff on the horizon.
