There is currently a brand-new Marvel-themed bonus download for May 2026 available for PlayStation Plus members, but you may want to move fast to grab it. This has been a pretty busy month for Sony’s subscription service, from the regular additions to tons of extra freebies for subscribers. One of the best games of the decade joined PS Plus this month, too, adding extra value to the membership fee, which has seen a price hike announced this month.
Despite that, it seems like Sony is trying to make up for price increases by granting players extra freebies that help add value to their memberships, as has been seen with new free titles to keep forever. Apart from that, as was shared in a post by HourProfessor4370 on Reddit, there is currently a Marvel-themed freebie to grab from the PlayStation Store. The only requirement is that you’re a member who is currently subscribed to PS Plus.

The free bundle via PS Plus offers players a costume for Mantis, an MVP animation, a thematic spray, a Mantis nameplate, and 300 free Chrono Tokens in Marvel Rivals, which will help you unlock more rewards on the Battle Pass. Called Marvel Rivals - 2026 Q2 Bundle, this package can be claimed until August 13, 2026, so the earlier you grab it, the better the odds you won’t miss it down the line.
If you already own any of the items mentioned in the bundle, you’ll still be able to claim it for free, though the bundle doesn’t generate duplicates. At the very worst, if you have all the cosmetic items, you’ll be treated to 300 free Chrono Tokens. If not, you’ll be giving great aesthetic value to Mantis in Marvel Rivals, who is considered one of the best Strategist characters in the PvP hero shooter.

The Q2 bundle is focused on Mantis’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 costume, but the previous Marvel Rivals freebie on PS Plus was centered around Venom and his Space Knight Costume. Before that, it was the Revolution costume for Winter Soldier. It’s always worth keeping these freebies on your radar, as these skins are usually paid.
The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 costume for Mantis is but the latest – and likely one of the most appealing – extra freebies offered by the subscription service that isn’t a game, per se. Be sure to claim this free Marvel Rivals bundle via PlayStation Plus, even if you aren’t playing it at the moment.
