In an unexpected break with tradition, Sony has officially announced the free PlayStation Plus games for June 2026 an entire day early. With the recent (and unwelcome) price hike, gamers everywhere will no doubt be hoping that the three PlayStation Plus Essential games for next month are worth the increased cost.
Reader, I'll let you be the judge of that. The free games for May 2026 were actually pretty decent. In case you don't remember, these are the games that were available throughout May and, as a reminder, the games you now have just a few more days to add to your library.

So, what has PlayStation Plus got for us in June? Grounded Fully Yoked Edition, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide. Another decent mix with a little something for everyone, hopefully.
