PlayStation Plus members are getting a free bonus download this month in the form of in-game DLC. This is on top of the usual monthly Essential games for all tiers, and the new additions to PS Plus Extra and Premium for April 2026. And the icing on the cake is that on top of the DLC being free, the game itself is ALSO free, so it's something a lot of subscribers will probably want to check out.

Other users were just happy to be reminded of it: "Heard about it a long time ago, on my wishlist again, thanks!"

PlayStation Plus Gamers, Don't Miss This Bonus Freebie

The newest download comes in the form of the Sky: Children Of The Light Spring Pack, which is available for free to all PlayStation Plus members, no matter what tier they're on. The pack includes:

  • 30 regular Candies
  • 3 Blue Colored Trail Spells
  • 3 Fast Recharge Spells
  • 3 Rainbow Glow Spells

Sky: Children Of The Light is an MMORPG that's also completely free to play. So, PS Plus members can download the game and then the DLC if they've never given it a try before.

Right now, there are 7 realms to explore in Sky: Children Of The Light, so it has a solid bit of content to explore. It's from the fine folks who made the most excellent Journey in 2012, and the art style and gameplay of Sky should feel familiar for anyone who's played Journey before.

The Spring Pack for Sky: Children Of The Light is just one of the many freebies this month for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Free DLC like this has been made available for a variety of games like Fortnite and Genshin Impact before, and it looks like Sky regularly gets them too. If you've never played this MMORPG before, now's a great time since the Spring Pack will give you a bit of a headstart.

You can explore the world solo or with friends, so if you prefer single-player games like I (mostly) do, then you don't have to stress about finding a group. Sky: Children Of The Light has a large open world to explore, and it's definitely worth checking out, especially considering it's free. If you have PlayStation Plus, be sure to download the free Spring Pack while you're at it.
