Pink's 7-Year-Old Son Jameson Makes Drumming Debut at Her Concert
Carey Hart is giving a reason, just a little bit of insight into why his marriage to Pink works.
Less than a month before the two will mark their 19th wedding anniversary, the former pro motocross racer shared the secret to the success of their relationship.
"It’s communication, having a teammate [and] talking through bad situations," Carey told Us Weekly in an interview posted Dec. 19. "Marriage isn't easy, and it's always coming back to the table."
The Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test star—who shares kids Willow, 13, and Jameson, 8, with Pink—added that the pair also share a certain trait in common: "We are highly, highly competitive people."
Since Carey, 49, and Pink, 45, married in January 2006, their relationship has had its ups and downs—they even broke up in 2008 for just under a year before reconciling.
"People are always like, 'Why did you get back together?'" Pink told Redbook in 2013. "Well, we weren't done. And now we have Willow, so we'll never be done."

"He and I have been at this a long time, and it is our relentless and stubborn idealism that keeps us together," the "Just Give Me a Reason" singer wrote on Instagram in 2020. "Marriage is awful, wonderful, comfort and rage. It is boring, terrifying, and a total nail biter. It is loving another fallible creature while trying to love yourself. It is a lifetime of coming back to the table."

Pink also touted the benefits of seeing professional counseling.
"Therapy isn't for weak people or hippies or liberals. It’s for broken people that want to be whole," she wrote. "It's for runaways that want a family. It’s a lesson on how to sit down and listen. How to love yourself so that the other person can, too. I love you babe."
