Paul Hogan's wayward son Chance made a rare public outing on Thursday at a Sydney screening of his famous father's iconic film, Crocodile Dundee.
Chance, 27, has joined his father Paul in Australia to celebrate a new 'encore cut' of the 1986 cult classic, which was shown at the Royal Botanic Gardens' OpenAir Cinema.
Though Chance kept a low-profile and didn't walk the red carpet with his father, he was seen enjoying a few drinks, including an Aperol Spritz and Champagne, in the gardens.
And he made a very unlikely friend during his night out.
Chance was spotted avidly chatting away to Australia's iconic bin chickens - also known as the white ibis.
Notorious for stealing food from unsuspecting passersby, Chance shielded his snacks from the brazen bird and flashed it a smile when it failed to leave him alone.

Chance, who has made headlines for his erratic behaviour, then started a rather animated conversation with the bin chicken.
For the outing, Chance cut a laidback figure in a white T-shirt and black jeans, which he styled with a washed-out denim jacket.
Chance lives in Venice Beach, Los Angeles with his father Paul, but the pair are currently back in Australia to celebrate the new Crocodile Dundee screening.
A new 'encore cut' was shown at the Royal Botanic Garden's OpenAir Cinema, but it caused controversy as two extra minutes of insensitive material were cut out.
However, leading star Paul defended the changes when he attended the premiere in Sydney on Thursday night, and insisted it 'wasn't about being woke'.
The now-reclusive star told The Courier Mail: 'I heard about it [the edit] years ago, it started, and it wasn't about being woke.
'They pointed out to me and said, "This guy is a folk hero around the world, and he shouldn't be groping people."
'And I thought, "Yeah that's right, he shouldn't be." So take it out. I mean, he did it in all innocence, in naivety, but it's better without it.'

WHAT IS A BIN CHICKEN?
A 'bin chicken' is the Australian slang term used to describe the Australian White Ibis.
The birds are most commonly seen in Australia's cities scavenging food from rubbish bins - prompting its well-deserved nickname.
They are a very common bird all around the country and are often spotted around city parks and highly-populated areas.
Ibises were rare in urban areas before the 1970s, when Sydney's Taronga Zoo began experimenting with free flight bird exhibits.
Legend has it that the first ibises in Australia originally came from Egypt and escaped from a Sydney Zoo.
The ibis population expanded in large numbers in major cities along Australia's east coast from the late 1970s onwards.
Paul, 85, became a household name when he portrayed Mick 'Crocodile' Dundee in the classic outback adventure franchise, which went on to spawn another two films.
The star was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay and won the Golden Globe Award for Best Actor for his performance.
Paul's visit back to Australia comes after he expressed a desire to move back Down Under following Venice Beach's downward turn - which includes soaring crime rates and a rise in homelessness.
In October 2022, Paul confessed he was homesick and said the only thing keeping him from returning Down Under was his son.
Describing Chance as American, not an Australian, he told Sydney's Daily Telegraph newspaper: 'The only family [Chance has got] is me.'
Chance has made headlines for his erratic behaviour in recent years, but Paul recently dismissed widespread fears for his son.
In November, troubling photos emerged of Chance buying beer and shuffling around Venice Beach back alleys, while he also sparked concern with his bizarre online videos.
However, when DailyMail.com caught up with Paul while he ran errands in Los Angeles last month, the father-of-six said there was nothing to be concerned about.
Asked if he was worried about Chance, Paul shook his head casually and smiled before replying: 'Nah.'
The aspiring musician also indulged in some celebratory drinks, including an Aperol Spritz and a glass of fizz

Sparks famously flew between Paul and Linda (pictured) on-set in the Australian Outback, while the Aussie - who is 19 years Linda's senior - was still married to wife Noelene Edwards
'No. It's a lot of made up stuff and a lot of it he [Chance] does on purpose,' he added.
The movie legend, who's originally from Sydney, left his home country behind following the success of the 1986 action-comedy film Crocodile Dundee.
He made the move to settle with his second wife, Linda, in Los Angeles in the '90s.
When asked if he would like to return to his Aussie homeland, he said: 'Oh yeah. One of these days.'
He then added, referring to his son: 'If he'll come.'
