Kanye West has revealed his eye-watering net worth thanks to his music portfolio and sole ownership of the Yeezy brand.

The rapper, 47, who prefers to be known as Ye, took to Instagram on Friday to share the staggering sum with his 20.5 million followers.

He posted a message from Eton Venture Services, which read: 'In 2025, Ye's net worth stands at $2.77 billion USD as confirmed by Eton Venture Services.

'The valuation is based on his music portfolio and his sole ownership of the Yeezy mark.'

Seemingly hitting back at his critics as he unveiled that he was a billionaire, Kanye added in the caption: 'LAA LA LA LA'.

The situation is a far cry from just a few years ago, when Kanye claimed he was 'two months away' from declaring bankruptcy after losing $2billion in one day when Adidas terminated its partnership with Yeezy.

The rapper lost his billionaire status in 2022 when a number of brands ended his lucrative contracts over his anti-Semitic outbursts and were outraged over his decision to promote White Lives Matter T-shirts at his Paris Fashion Week show.

Kanye said he poured 'everything I had' into Sunday's $7million Super Bowl advert for his fashion brand and his new album, Vultures.

'I'm just be honest with y'all. I was two months from going bankrupt, and I put everything I had into it [the album and the Super Bowl advert],' he told TMZ.

Kanye said as his wealth began to plummet, he moved to Italy with his wife Bianca Censori.

'We moved to Italy. We moved to the factories, and we survived. We survived through the cancellation. We're back number one,' he said.

Kanye then shared that Yeezy had made $19.3million from the Super Bowl advert and Vultures was number one in 100 countries.

When asked if he felt the controversy 'helped' him, Kanye replied: 'It wasn't about the controversy. It was about being able to say how you felt out loud.

'If I didn't have the various skill sets of music and clothing and the fanbase, they would have been able to destroy me. But because we had all those skill sets, somehow I'm here inside of this universe able to fight.'

Kanye was asked if he regretted his anti-Semitic comments, to which he responded: 'hey got the right to their opinion - I got the right to my opinion.'

Discussing the backlash at the time, Kanye insisted that 'money is not who I am' as he penned a 'love letter' to Hollywood super agent Ari Emanuel, who had called for him to be dropped by all major brands.

In a post captioned 'LOVE SPEECH', he penned: 'Ari Emanuel, I lost 2 billion dollars in one day and I’m still alive. This is love speech. I still love you. God still loves you. The money is not who I am. The people is who I am.'

In an op-ed for the Financial Times, Endeavor co-CEO Emanuel wrote that there should be 'no tolerance anywhere for West's anti-Semitism' and encouraged brands to full-stop cease partnering and working with the designer.

'Apple and Spotify, which host West's music, whoever organizes West's tours, and Adidas, which collaborates with West on his fashion line, should all stop working with him,' wrote Emanuel - essentially calling for a blacklisting.

'Silence is dangerous,' continued Emanuel. 'It allows forms of hatred and racism, including anti-Semitism, to spread and become normalized. It coarsens and degrades our society and country.'

The new wealth update comes as Kanye has been active on social media recently as he's been sharing sweet clips where he is 'training' his daughter North in the recording studio, after revealing she made him 'love music again'.

The musician shares North, 11, with Kim Kardashian, who he was married to until their divorce in 2022.

He took to Instagram on Tuesday to post snippets of what's going on behind the scenes with his 20.5 million followers, as he brought the youngster along to help while he worked on his 11th studio album BULLY.

In one black and white video, North was being shown around a huge warehouse, before sitting down at a table with a microphone and speakers.

A second clip saw the rapper's daughter get stuck in as she played around on a sampling keyboard.

He captioned the videos: 'Training' and 'TRAINING 2.0'.
