Elon Musk and former X CEO Linda Yaccarino have been summoned for questioning in France following a raid on the platform’s French offices by a police cybercrime unit on Tuesday.
The Paris Prosecutor said in a release that the national cyber unit, which oversees operations to detect and stop cybercrime, had searched X’s French HQ on Tuesday.
The raid was a joint operation with officers from European crime agency Europol and was conducted as part of an investigation opened in January 2025.
