Jennifer loves TV, especially science fiction. She also loves late-night talk shows, due to her insomnia. Alien: Earth is definitely one of her favorite shows, and she jumps on any chance she gets to write about it. Even on her days off, she will claim an Alien Earth article if one is available.
Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon are two of her favorite late-night hosts, and Conan O'Brien before he left his show.
Her Alien: Earth coverage for ScreenRant is by far the work that she is most proud of so far.
She was initially a finance and political editor, but her passion for pop culture convinced her to transition into entertainment journalism.
During her off time, she loves to binge-watch cooking shows such as Kitchen Nightmares. Jennifer also loves spending time with her daughter and cherishes every moment of it.

One of Netflix’s latest international dramas is off to a good start in the United States, as Phantom Lawyer breaks into the platform’s domestic Top 10 chart, even though only two episodes are currently available to stream in the US.
Phantom Lawyer, a 16-part supernatural crime series, has landed the number 9 spot on Netflix's Top 10 domestic chart. It follows the life of an average attorney, Shin I-rang (Yoo Yeon-seok), who unexpectedly develops the ability to see ghosts. His new powers force him to confront his fears and change the course of his career.
Shin I-rang eventually teams up with a cold and intimidating lawyer, Han Na-hyeon (Esom). Together, they take on cases involving supernatural clients, such as spirits seeking resolution for unfinished business. They also discover hidden truths that impact both the dead and the living along the way.
The performance of Phantom Lawyer so far reflects a continuing trend for Netflix, where international series are gaining more popularity in the US. As global content becomes more accessible, viewers have shown a willingness to engage with non-domestic productions, particularly those with content that seems refreshing and different from what they're used to.
The Netflix show blends legal procedurals with the paranormal. Blending the two genres appears to be resonating with audiences looking for a unique take on crime dramas, which are usually grounded in reality. Phantom Lawyer also isn't the first successful show to mix the two popular genres. Critically acclaimed shows such as Dead Boy Detectives and Lucifer feature similar themes, proving that the combination continues to attract audiences.
While Phantom Lawyer only has two episodes available to stream in the US right now, the series’ making its way to Netflix's Top 10 chart suggests the potential for further growth as additional episodes become available. With 14 chapters left to watch, Phantom Lawyer is positioned to expand its audience and potentially climb higher in the rankings in the coming weeks.
The first two episodes of Phantom Lawyer are now available to stream on Netflix.
