With filming now underway for Only Murders in the Building season 6, the cast has started sharing photos from the set as the hit comedy heads across the pond.

Steve Martin, one of the three main leads of Only Murders in the Building, took to Instagram to mark the start of production in London by posing alongside Martin Short, Selena Gomez and Da'Vine Joy Randolph. The actor, comedian, and musician added the caption, "OMITB hits London! What a ball to be here and to stroll along the Seine."

Last week, Martin started posting photos from what he called an unknown location, though Instagram users in the comments section knew right away that he was in London for Only Murders in the Building season 6. He then shared a selfie taken in front of hats and other merchandise emblazoned with the UK flag, confirming his whereabouts, even though he continued to joke that he was off the grid and in an unknown location.

Martin hasn't been the only one teasing their location on social media. Gomez posted a photo on her Instagram Story that featured the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Bridge, and the River Thames. Her caption said, "I adore London," with the face-holding-back-tears emoji and the UK flag emoji.

The Hulu comedy heading to London was teased at the end of Only Murders in the Building season 5 when Cinda Canning, played by Tina Fey, releases a new podcast in which she discusses a woman who's suspected of killing a royal descendant. The podcaster wants the woman to go to the United States to be safe. Afterward, Mabel, Oliver and Charles are horrified when they see Cinda's body outside The Arconia.

Only Murders in the Building premiered in 2021 and centers on the lead trio as they launch a true-crime podcast about murders that occur in their own apartment building.

Aside from Martin, Short and Gomez, the comedy has featured a star-studded cast of series regulars, recurring cast members and guest stars over the years that include Cara Delevingne, Paul Rudd, Meryl Streep, Zach Galifianakis, Eugene Levy, Eva Longoria, Nathan Lane, Michael Rapaport, Jane Lynch, Molly Shannon, Kumail Nanjiani, Téa Leoni, Bobby Cannavale, Keegan-Michael Key, Beanie Feldstein and Renée Zellweger.

Since the beginning, Only Murders in the Building has been nominated for several awards. At the Emmys, the series won Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy, and Gomez took home the statue for Best Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Comedy. At the SAG Awards, Short was honored for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, and the cast won Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series.

Not only is the show the highest-rated comedy on Hulu and an awards magnet, but Only Murders in the Building has also been a critically acclaimed series, with the inaugural season earning a perfect Rotten Tomatoes score of 100%. Subsequent seasons nearly matched that perfect rating, with seasons 2 and 3 receiving a 98% and 97%, respectively. The show's average score across its first five seasons is 95%.

While a premiere date hasn't been announced for Only Murders in the Building season 6 yet, a late summer or early fall release is likely, based on the schedule for past seasons.
