Olivia Munn made sure to celebrate her little girl at the 2026 Emmys.
Indeed, the Newsroom alum sent a direct message to her and husband John Mulaney's daughter Méi on her second birthday, which she can watch for future milestones.
"Méi Méi, I cannot believe I get to be your mommy," Munn said while addressing her daughter during an exclusive interview with Keltie Knight on Live From E!: 2026 Emmys Sept. 14. "It is the most magical gift."
"I can't believe you're in the world," she continued, "and I truly can't believe that we can make someone that we love so much."
Although the Your Friends & Neighbors actress—whose series was nominated for Outstanding Drama Series, which ultimately went to The Pitt—had Méi on her mind, she was spending the evening with Mulaney at the biggest night in television.
After all, along with the Apple TV series earning a nomination, the comedian presented the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series award to The Pitt's Noah Wyle. (See all the winners here.)
It was the perfect date night for the couple—who also share son Malcolm, 4—as Munn, 46, spent the evening alongside Mulaney, 44. But it was especially exciting as she prepares for fans to tune in to season three of Your Friends & Neighbors.
"We ended the second season with a big cliffhanger," she explained to Knight. "We start the third season—that we've just finished filming—where you see really how secrets really destroy not just you, but your friends and the people around you."
But one thing that isn't a secret for Munn? Just how complicated motherhood has been as Méi continues to expand her vocabulary.

"The only thing that's a bit confusing is that she says 'No' to things that she means no about, but also means yes? She will get mad if you don't know the difference," she told E! News in March. "Being in communication with a toddler makes you feel gaslit all the time."
Munn playfully added, "I'm like, 'What's going on? I'm trying my best!'"
Now, keep reading to see Munn and Mulaney do more than try their best while stepping out at the 2026 Emmys.
