Olivia Dean has revealed she would be up for starring on Strictly Come Dancing.

The singer, 27, said she has been practicing her dancing skills by going to Salsa lessons in her spare time.

In a new interview on Hits Radio, Olivia said: 'I’ve been doing Salsa lessons recently. Just learning a new skill that’s completely separate from my music and still in music.'

Host Marvin Humes then asked the Man I Need hitmaker if she would ever take part on Strictly, to which she said: 'I actually would'.

However, Olivia won't be able to take part in this year's series as she will be touring Australia and New Zealand in October.

Strictly is having a huge shake-up following the departure of hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Day.

Insiders say bosses are plotting the major revamp for the show in the wake of a string of scandals that have rocked the franchise.

In recent weeks, dancers Karen Hauer, 43, Michelle Tsiakkas, 30, Nadiya Bychkova, 36, Luba Mushtuk, 36, and Gorka Marquez, 35, have been cut after hosts Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly stepped down last year.

Meanwhile, Fleur East and Janette Manrara have also reportedly been axed from Strictly Come Dancing's spin-off It Takes Two.

Elsewhere in the interview, OIivia teased fans that more music could be in the pipeline as some songs never made her album, The Art Of Loving.

She said: 'Man I Need wasn’t supposed to be a single. But I’m glad I followed through with that one. There were loads of songs that didn’t make the album, but I might still do something with them.'

It comes as Olivia has soared to the top of the odds as a favourite to record the next James Bond theme, after her triumphant night at the BRIT Awards.

The singer has joined Raye as a frontrunner as the latest star to record a track for the franchise.

In recent weeks the Bond franchise has faced questions over its future due to the drawn-out search to find the next star to play 007 since Daniel Craig departed the role in 2021.

Hits Radio host Marvin Humes asked the Man I Need hitmaker if she would ever take part on Strictly in a new interview, to which she said: 'I actually would'

But even without any concrete plans for the next Bond film, the latest odds show that it looks set to be another big music star to record the next theme.

Both Olivia and Raye are 2/1 to release the next Bond hit, joining stars including Billie Eilish, Adele and Paul McCartney

Harry Styles has also soared up the betting odds after his own performance at the BRIT Awards, and is now 6/1, close behind Dua Lipa and Lana Del Rey.
