Olivia Culpo and Christian McCaffrey are growing their team again!
Nearly 10 months after giving birth to her first baby Colette, the former Miss Universe announced she and the San Francisco 49ers running back are expecting their second child.
“Best birthday gift,” Olivia wrote on Instagram May 8—her 34th birthday—alongside a family photoshoot where she showed off her growing baby bump. “Baby #2 coming soon.”
The model also quipped on her Instagram Story that she had been “hiding a special birthday present.”
Plus, she had some fun with her pregnancy announcement by posing in the same maternity dress she wore while pregnant in her 33rd birthday post in order to compare her current baby bump to the one she had last year.
For his part, Christian, 29, celebrated by sharing the post to his Instagram Story, writing, “Happy birthday to the best wife and mom on the planet. I love you.”
Since welcoming baby Colette in July, Olivia has been candid about her experience with motherhood. But while she has admitted it can be “scary” at times, she also emphasized it has “been so fun.”
"Every day is so different and I'm really just trying to sit in because I know it goes by so fast,” she said on an October episode of The Squeeze podcast. “Everybody says these are the days that go by quicker than you could have ever imagined."
Meanwhile, Christian has been soaking up all the time he’s spent with his little one.
"Watching your daughter grow has been the coolest thing in my life," he told E! News in February. "Watching her develop a personality, start to notice the world, smile, move. It's been awesome."
"I love her so much," the NFL star added. "My wife loves her so much."
As for who Colette more closely resembles?
"Some days I'm like, 'Man, she's my twin,'" Christian shared. "Other days, I see she's a Culpo. I can see the eyebrows and the eyelashes."
But when it comes to the little one’s personality, the jury is still out.
"It's starting to come out more,” he said, “and we're noticing different things every day."
