Olivia Bowen and Binky Felstead brave the storms for a magical day at Lapland UK as they count down to Christmas

Olivia and Alex Bowen had an emotional day out with their son at Lapland UK on Sunday.

The Love Island star, 30, has two-year-old son Abel with husband Alex and they looked every bit the happy family as they attended the festive attraction over the weekend.

They had braved Storm Darragh - which is currently sweeping the UK - although it seemed worth it for the three of them.  

But the reality star did admid that she broke down in tears several times over the course of the day as she watched her son embrace the Yuletide sprit. 

She wrote on Instagram: ' Hands up if you cried 172929 times at @laplanduk today 

'I don’t know what I was expecting but every thought I had was truly blown out the water, the most magical place

'I will never forget the look on Abel’s face when he was about to meet Father Christmas 

'Honestly, the way it’s set up, the amount of tiny little details, the costumes, the people, the productions - everything was so so magical - it’s the only way I can describe it!'

Olivia shared a carousel of pictures from the big day out, where she marvelled at how the little one was enjoying  his time in the winter wonderland.

Another star braving the weather was Made In Chelsea's Binky Felstead, who has seven-year-old India with ex-partner Josh Patterson, as well as sons Wolfie, three, and Wilder, 20 months with her husband Max.

She wrote: 'Our 6th year at @laplanduk and I think it was the best yet! 

'Our favourite christmassy day - never sure who loves the day more, me or the kids!! 

'Friends have gone after seeing my posts over the years & always agree and say just how special it really is.'

The reality star, 34, concluded her cheery post by thanking Mr and Mrs Lapland for yet 'another incredible year' as she revealed that her children are in Sana's favour.

Lapland UK can cost £1,000 or more per family with celebrities and royalty among those queuing to see Santa in the middle of the Berkshire countryside, MailOnline revealed last year.
