Olivia Attwood splashes out £2.5K on Gucci heels during a New York shopping spree days after boyfriend Pete Wicks bought her a £20K bag

Olivia Attwood has revealed she has splashed out £2,500 on Gucci heels during a New York shopping spree on Friday.

The TV presenter, 35, justified her lavish designer purchase on Instagram as she insisted they are an 'investment'.

Olivia has added a stylish pair of £1,640 Gucci boots and £840 slingback pump to her autumn winter wardrobe.

She said: 'They're the most elegant, classy, timeless shoe. It's what we call girl math, it's an investment but it's not an investment because I'll never see a penny of this back but I will wear it a lot.'

'These boots screamed 90s me, I think this is like a revival of a shoe that is around like of early 2000s, like very Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie sort of vibes with the Gucci all of it', she added.

'If you told me a year ago I was going to buy a shoe with Gucci logo all over, I would have laughed in your face, but here I am and I think they are kind of c**t.'

It comes after Olivia showed off her £20,000 Hermes clutch bag her boyfriend Pete Wicks got her in a new TikTok video. 

The Love Island star was heading out in New York City and shared what she was wearing for her glamorous evening. 

Olivia looked incredible in the La Perla slip dress with cream floral lace for a night out in the city, which was the exact number that actress Margot Robbie, 36, wore during the 2013 blockbuster Wolf Of Wall Street. 

The TV personality accessorised with knee-high boots and oversized Gucci sunglasses as she paraded her Hermes Kelly Cut Epsom Bleu Glacier clutch bag.

She said to her fans: 'This dress is the exact La Perla night slip that Margot Robbie wore in the Wolf of Wall Street in that scene where she’s like, “Who? Who? You’re a f***ing owl!

'And then with the Gucci shades. A little Hermes bag that Pete got me. And we’re going out to some fashion week parties and we’re fuelling it with Savano, of course. And the perfect YSL boot. See you on the flip.'

Fans wrote: 'Yes Pete did well with the purse' and 'Bet Pete is drooling over this'. 

Olivia and boyfriend Pete made light of their blossoming romance earlier this month as they exchanged flirty banter while presenting a National Television Award (NTA) together.

The couple, who 'hard launched' their relationship on social media just weeks ago, kissed as they made their red carpet debut at the O2 Arena.

Later in the evening, they got up on stage to present the best daytime show gong, where Pete joked he had bagged himself a 'Loose Woman' in front of the audience.

They were met with a rapturous applause as they walked out, while host Joel Dommett joked their romance was the 'relationship that everyone saw coming'.

Olivia, a panellist on talk show Loose Women, said: 'This is a good category for us to present. Everyone knows Pete Wicks loves a loose woman.'

After pretending to be annoyed by her comment, Pete, 37, joked back: 'I love them so much that I got my very own…'

The main hosts, Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley, headed up to the stage with Friday presenters Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary and the rest of the crew.
