The next steamy hockey obsession is on its way. Amazon Prime Video has announced the premiere date of the “Off Campus” TV series adaptation.
The show, based on Ella Kennedy’s book series of the same name, will debut its entire first season on May 13. Amazon has also released the first teaser and first-look images from the show, which can be seen below. The series scored an early Season 2 renewal back in February.
The show is described as a college soap that follows “an elite ice hockey team, and the women in their lives, as they grapple with love, heartbreak, and self-discovery—forging deep friendships and enduring bonds while navigating the complexities that come with transitioning into adulthood,” per the official logline. “Season One follows the sexy and fun ‘opposites attract’ romance between quiet songwriter, Hannah (Ella Bright), and Briar University’s all-star hockey athlete, Garrett (Belmont Camelli).”
Additional series regulars include Mika Abdalla, Antonio Cipriano, Josh Heuston, Stephen Kalyn, and Jalen Thomas Brooks.
Louisa Levy adapted the books for the screen and serves as co-showrunner and executive producer. Gina Fattore is also the co-showrunner and executive producer. Wyck Godfrey, Marty Bowen and James Seidman executive produce for Temple Hill. Leanna Billings of Billings Productions and Neal Flaherty also serve as executive producers.
This will be the latest romantic TV show based on a book series set in the world of hockey to come out in recent months. The Canadian series “Heated Rivalry,” which follows to pro hockey players who engage in a long-term secret relationship, burned up the charts on both Crave and HBO Max when it premiered in November 2025.
