The Nothing Phone 3A Community Edition revamps Nothing’s usual monochrome look with a 90s-inspired design infused by pops of color. It’s updating the basic 3A’s transparent backplate with a teal tint, plus yellow and magenta buttons.
They’re also throwing in an accessory too, for the first time, adding a limited edition set of six-sided dice with a matching teal and yellow case that uses the company’s custom font.
The special edition is the result of Nothing’s annual community design event, where Emre Kayganacl’s “Translucent Memories” design was selected from a pool of over 700 user submissions. Nothing did the same thing last year with the Phone 2A Plus Community Edition, which featured a glow-in-the-dark pattern on its backplate.
Now this phone will go on sale on December 12th, complete with a new community-created lockscreen clock face and matching wallpapers.
Nothing is only making 1,000, though, so make sure to sign up for a notification on the sale if you want to snag one. It will be available “across all markets,” but that unfortunately doesn’t appear to include the US, with pricing listed as £379 / €379 / ₹28,999 / ¥59,800.
