The momentum isn’t random as it moved from scattered starts to broad control across multiple dates.

‘The Night Agent’ Writers Are Actively Working on a Fourth Season

As per a recent news report, The Night Agent Season 4 isn’t officially renewed yet, but the show is not sitting idle: the creative team is already moving forward, as writers are actively working on a fourth season while waiting for Netflix’s formal pickup, as per showrunner and creator Shawn Ryan’s recent comments. He mentioned that a writers' room was quietly picked up in 2025 and that the team has been breaking stories and drafting scripts while renewal timing is worked out. The Netflix conspiracy thriller starring Basso enjoys a 7.5/10 IMDb rating and a 82% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes.
