Natasha Lyonne was at the center of controversy after a politically-tinged post on X had left her followers questioning what she had meant.
The 47-year-old actress early Tuesday had reposted President Donald Trump thanking Elon Musk for donating 'SpaceX Stock to millions of American children' through Trump Accounts.
Lyonne included in her repost emojis of a rocket, salute, sun and smiling face with sunglasses, leading to an influx of replies questioning if her politics had shifted.
She also reposted a clip of Vice President J.D. Vance being interrupted during a speech by a protester demanding the release of the Epstein Files, with security hauling the protester off
'Sketchy mofo - prefer trump - this s*** is even scarier - don’t really know how we arrived at this aesthetic as baseline normal, but c’est la dominoes, etc,' she commented on the clip. 'Grimey times.'
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Lyonne for further comment on this story.

Multiple users questioned why Lyonne had posted the social media statement in seeming support of the president amid her history of being geared toward Democrat causes, having endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris in her presidential run against Trump two years ago.
'Deep into this horrific presidential run and when his popularity is at an all time low is a very insane time to show support for this man,' one user said.
Another added, 'What are you doing? Why are you reposting anything Trump says? I am your fan but this bothers me. Please explain.'
Others made comments to Lyonne saying she was 'too cool to believe this stupid s***,' another person asking if she had 'gone insane;' and another saying, 'Natasha what is this behaviour?'
Some users expressed support for Lyonne's seeming support of the Trump Accounts initiative.
'I love all the people in these replies who think giving American kids money to give them a jump start on their future is a bad thing,' one user said. 'Y’all are not okay.'
Another added, 'Rip to your mentions because liberals are all miserable people who don’t even like to see American kids winning.'
Said one user: 'Don't worry about these nasty comments. You're awesome.'
A number of social media users pushed back on Lyonne's initial tweet

Lyonne replied to followers who had questions about her political tweets
Lyonne clarified to her followers that she is not a supporter of Trump, offering names of political and media personalities she prefers as an alternative before deleting the post
When one follower asked the actress, who's been seen on Russian Doll, Poker Face and Orange Is the New Black, about her remark that she preferred Trump to Vance, Lyonne replied, 'To insert Manchurian Candidate here?'
She replied to another follower who said while they were a longtime fan and understood Lyonne tends to 'treat everything like it's one big joke,' her timing was not appropriate amid the upcoming U.S. midterm elections.
Lyonne said in response, 'Wait what’s happened for real. -you guys think I like trump?'
The actress continued, 'I don’t like installed fascists: I vote for Al Gore bc we got a data center crisis regardless, & at a glance - the guy seems genuinely concerned w climate.'
She added, 'Lina Khan & Karen Hao should probably run America for a year to figure out what happens next. (*at a glance).'
Lyonne, who was posting about a number on other topics in between the political posts, replied to one poster who wrote, 'Ohhhhh motherf***er…not you too…' with a gif of Emma Roberts' Scream Queens character.
Lyonne posted a laughing emoji, adding, 'fine I’ll delete them but this was funny,' before apparently deleting the posts in which she reposted Trump, as well as the one in which she clarified she wasn't a supporter.
