The Naruto anime franchise is by far one of the most important on the planet. Ever since the manga’s first chapter was released in 1999, the series has become an icon of the industry, and its anime is still considered one of the best in history. Despite being more than two decades old, the Naruto franchise is still as relevant as it was during its height.
This has once again been proven thanks to an upcoming collaboration with the world-famous fast food franchise Burger King. French fans will soon be able to see Naruto and his friends invade the restaurants. This collab was announced via the official Burger King France X account.
Naruto Took a Break From Ramen To Eat a Tasty Burger
The Collaboration Will Begin January 14, 2025
On January 11, 2025, the official X account of the French Burger King brand announced that a collaboration between the restaurant and Naruto would soon begin. This partnership will commence this coming Tuesday, January 14, 2025, although no details about what food items or merchandise will be available during its duration. Given the short time between the announcement and the beginning of this collab, it is likely that the characteristics of this promotion will not be revealed until its release. The post contains a caption referring to Naruto’s most iconic technique, the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

The caption was accompanied by two stunning images of Naruto’s characters enjoying a meal in a Burger King location. The first illustration depicts the titular protagonist and Sasuke, his best friend and rival, eating their meals. The characters are seen wearing pieces of clothing that contain a unique logo, which seems to be a combination of the fast-food franchise and the Hidden Leaf’s symbols. The second image only includes Naruto, once again eating a burger. Nonetheless, this time there is a small nod to the collaboration, as a Sasuke Burger is being promoted.
What Could the Collaboration Entail?
The Images Seem To Be Hinting at What Items Will Be Released
Although the official announcement of the Burger King and Naruto collab did not include the items that will be released, the pictures included may be giving fans hints. One of the most striking details from the illustrations is the items of clothing worn by both characters. Naruto is seen with two different caps, which could be a hint at these items becoming available for purchase once the collaboration begins. Sasuke is also seen sporting a t-shirt with the same image, adding fuel to the theory that these pieces of clothing are a part of the partnership between the franchises.
Another major hint found in the pictures is the name of the promotional meal behind Naruto. Burger King, like many other fast food franchises, has collaborated in the past with popular TV shows to release toys based on their characters. The Sasuke Burger could be a reference to a kid’s meal that will include an action figure of Naruto’s cast. Special food items that resemble characters or objects from the show could also be a possibility, as recently happened with the Dragon Ball DAIMA and McDonald’s partnership.
There is no doubt that French fans will be beyond excited once the Naruto collaboration becomes available in their local Burger Kings. This is another proof of how important and beloved this series continues to be, even decades after its beginnings.
