Karina Natt, the wife of Channel 10 star Narelda Jacobs, has hit back at cruel trolls after the pair were criticised her pregnancy.

Narelda, 48, and Karina, 39, announced earlier this month that they were expecting their first child together.

Posting to Instagram on Saturday, the couple shared a sweet carousel of clips and photos that showed them enjoying life since revealing their big news.

One clip showed the couple looking glamorous in stunning gowns, standing in the Sydney CBD.

Narelda was holding the train of her black dress over Karina's midriff before pulling it back to reveal her burgeoning baby bum, that was accentuated with a large black bow on Karina's dress.

Another sweet image showed Narelda and Karina sharing an intimate festive-themed moment.

Narelda also snapped a selfie of the couple kissing in front of the large Christmas tree in Martin Place.

Another photo showed Karina in an eye catching orange off-the shoulder dress, again showing off her baby bump as she posed in front of what appeared to be a hotel window.

A third photo showed Narelda and Karina wearing very similar black outfits, enjoying a fun moment in an elevator.

The sweet carousel was rounded out by the loved-up couple hanging out with friends, and even Narelda taking to some home improvement.

While the post was met with a flurry of love and congratulations from friends, fans and followers, not everyone was as generous.

One cruel troll took the time to criticise the couple's baby news with: 'Feel sorry for the child not knowing who's the father.'

It is unclear if the donor is anonymous or known to Narelda and Karina.

Karina, who is the former chief of staff for Greens senator Sarah Hanson-Young, did not take the dig lying down, wasting no time in hitting back at the churlish commenter.

'Who made you the author of our family's story?' she replied.

Followers were quick tto jump to the couple's defence, hitting back at the nasty comment.

'Good thing it's not your child, not your life and has absolutely nothing to do with you so just scroll on! Had to be all freaking negative huh!' one replied.

Another chimed in with: 'Feel sorry for your negative mindset! Your comment is so out for 2025,' while a third jumped in with: 'Feel sorry for any child you have with that homophobic and bigoted view.'

A third hit back with: 'Feel sorry for yourself and your miserable life, unhappy troll.'

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Narelda Jacobs and Karina Natt for comment.

Taking to Instagram while at the beach earlier this month, Karina and Narelda dropped their baby bombshell during an announcement about an upcoming book launch.

'We've got some exciting news,' a bikini-clad Narelda said to camera before Karina added: 'We're having a book baby.'

Narelda then revealed the couple were expecting.
